I have "Rite In The Rain" notebooks and Fisher Military Space Pens in my radio "go bags" and my other outdoor gear bags. Great product and nice review. Thanks!
one of the early lessons I learned in Corps was keep a pencil, pencils don't run like ink pens do when they get wet. use diving paper and you are good to go.
TAKE A CLEAR LARGE ZIPLOCK BAG TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN/SHINGLE EFFECT YOU HAVE ROOM ENOUGH TO WRITE AND YOU CAN ALSO SEE THRU IT IT SURE BEATS 3 DOLLARS AT THE PX.... I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU DO A REVEIW IN SOME M.O.P.P. GEAR TIMING HOW FAST YOU CAN GET IT ON AND ALSO FIRE YOUR WEAPON IN IT WITH KRAZY KOREA OVER OUR SHOULDER PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW HOW TO PERFORM THIS TASK THANK YOU I STILL ENJOY YOUR VIDS ALSO GOD BLESS YOU
true,we all need to get off our butts and get outside!great video.i used one of them in iraq and the amount i had sweated was unreal, that pad was the only thing that lasted or worked for that matter!
Sootch I use these religously at work. I spend time in the rain noting crashes, taking infor for complaints and etc as a cop and after usin these with the pen I never worry about runny ink or any torn paper at all. I dont mind spending the extra money for this product when my coworkers can't read their notes haha.
Sootch another informative video, thanks. But, what is this "rain" stuff you keep talking about? Seriously though, the pen is a Fisher spacepen, one of their pens I own. The company is about 10 minutes from my house in Boulder City, Nevada. I met Mr. Fisher a few times before he passed away, and he was a heck of a nice guy, and pro gun. He complimented me on chosing to carry, & suggested moving up to .45 cal at least if I wouldn't carry a magnum. Check out the .375 bullet pen - tacticool.
I never could understand being so concerned for having a "tactical" green or khaki cover....when the paper inside is BRIGHT WHITE! lol Would like to check out this product myself though. ;)
Thank you sootch! We can always count on you for the unique and functional product reviews. I love your channel and appreciate that you share without being arrogant about it.
Ha, I use these. Actually just used them up in the mountains for Combat Survival training with the Air Force for the past 3 weeks and they worked great!
It's nice to see someone who knows this country is a Republic.

The pen is made by Fisher (Fisher Space pen patent)

Fisher does a very nice all weather pen (any Fisher space pen)
Also: Nalgene has really good weather proof paper (often used in certain labs)

i somehow find it humorous to think that you have to setup the camera something and then walk it front of it by yourself to make a cool vid. lol.

I think it's funny that they call it "tactical Green". Whats tactical about it? I sell the darn things and I don't get that.

I heard a story once that you American guys (NASA) spent 30 years developing a pen that would work in space. The Russians just used a pencil. Lol JK!

@ds10363 ya it's a Rite in the Rain pad. Water doesn't affect it.
