Don't you mean "I MISS THOSE DAYS? :)"

  • man I mwish I was in the days when there were other ways to have fun dancing besides grinding and doing the robot by yourself. And I'm not saying I don't like the robot or that grinding is bad (cuz it gives me a hard-on and I appreciate that). But nowadays it just feels stupid and strange to dance and "try" to have fun. But this? This must feel so cool. Its AWESOME!

  • its perfectly in tune

  • @tatertots725 definitely, LOL!

  • The guy in the purple shirt blows my mind.

  • lol that looks like a very fun time in life

  • Hey I'm not Black But I am 54 this year i used to watch Soul train every week,With Don Corneilus I remember alot of the regulars on the show.Folks had Style back then.now days these hopless Juviniles have to walk around with their underwear hangin out acting stupid and killing each other.I blame the lazy Parents.

  • I watch soul train every week..they were doing there line dance but was not the Hustle...

  • I use to love playing with Crown Heights on the Circle Line......this was one of our favorite songs to play.......awwwwwwl....the 70's.....

  • wow brings back good old days in New York City Harlem i miss those days wish they came back just so i can dance again....all I ever wanted was to dance even won a contest in the Latin hustle.

  • Im not black but I really miss these days when I used to go to the bars and go dancing with this and KC and the sunshine band and Kool and the gang. Miss those days! Music is not like this anymore and it sucks!

  • Its a Friday night in Glasgow Scotland I am 50 years old and me and my wife are reliving our youth. God bless soul music.

  • 1:16 : XD She was havin' so much fun it killed her!

  • This was when dancing was fun, period.

  • @Scorpion1054

    You got that right Scorpion!

  • The ultimate party foul.. doing someone else's line dance.

  • These were the BEST of times! Don't laugh, but I still wear WIDE legged pants! Very hard to find in this period of skinny jeans. However, I hear that the trend will be turning to wider leg jeans according to the fashionistas. I'll have to snatch a few up and save them cause I'll be wearing them until I HUSTLE off to the next life.

  • jajajajaja!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hacia tiempo que no me reia tanto! muy bueno

  • jajajajaja!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hacia tiempo que no me reia tanto!

  • This is not the song that goes with this Soul Train line. I wonder why the song (Doin' it to Death) was pulled??!!

  • I was looking at my junior high school year book the other night (1975) and my nephew was on the floor laughing at all the dudes that had afros and big ass bow ties on. Man we all looked like we came from another planet whites and blacks.

  • @rjplamf61 and then 30 years in the future, THEIR children will be doing the same thing to them =P

  • I was at a wedding a few months ago and my uncle who is 63 years old tore it up on the dance floor when they played this tune. Made my night. Old School the best school.

  • Notice something about yesteryear. Pretty much every person is height and weight proportionate. People were alot thinner back then

    Where did we go wrong?

  • My son asks me about dancing, I show him this and he looks at me with the most hilarious face, Ha. I miss the old days

  • Let's see white people do this....LOL LOL LOL

  • @remulak56 Best Hustle I ever saw was done in San Francisco by whites. The guys and girls had perfectly matched moves and rhythm. They were so good the blacks did not even bother to go on the floor and just stood and watched... then clapped.

  • Wow! Always cool to see the Soul Train Dancers groovin, They were one of a kind, more cool than Ice Cool !!!

  • I'm not putting them down.. because I love this song and the dancers are great... but does anyone else think they look weird.. as in the video has been slowed down/sped up and they sort of look like cartoons or robots? Maybe it's just really late here lol

  • LOVE the styles) GOOD times

  • These were the best dancers ever~!~~ I used to watch this program in PR SAt mornings!

  • Do they really dance to that tune?

  • @MrMurzilla LOL!! Yes, we did do the Hustle back in the day!! And man do I miss it!!

  • @MrMurzilla I sure do!!

  • Seems they dance to a another toone not to "Do the hustle".

  • why can't people just dance and have fun like this anymore? my cousin back then use to get all dolled up and go dance? she came home one day with this song on a 45? and she showed me how she danced to this song? we turn that ol t.v off pop popcorn and dnace away? we had a blast? I MISS THOSE DAYS :)

  • @barbj7121 People do still dance and have fun like that... in Africa. You should go. Such a peaceful life

  • @barbj7121 Nothing to stop you bringing it back. I learned to dance at a late age (50). I did salsa and then leroc. My social life has never been so much fun, so busy and so tiring. Go for it.

  • @barbj7121 why are you questioning everything you ever did....?

  • @barbj7121 OMG!! I used to watch Soul Train from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont. We got it on cable. I thought that show was SO cool! I'd try(probably unsuccessfully) to copy their moves. ha ha.. I MISS Soul Train!!!

  • @teehonky umm not exactly, oprah cant dance and she's black

  • @otakugurl5000 how do you know??(that she CANT dance,duh)

  • @teehonky Because, when that homegirl was carrying all that fatty acid on her years ago, her belly WAS THE DANCEFLOOR!!!...

Therefore, anyone was welcomed to "do the hustle" on her!!!

  • @grumpypant oh........bet she can "hustle " to the buffet line

  • @otakugurl5000 Oprah don't have to know how to dance because she has enough money to have people dance for her. And I know that she bendin' it over and dancing for Stedman. That's why he's still with her even though she wont marry him.

  • @teehonky job security and money?
