What you say is understandable. However, it's not necessary true. I do agree that being sixteen is a little too young to have a child. Moreover, I'm nineteen and and I'm married. My husbands great and my job is stable. There's no limitation in having a child. Age, it's just a number. Jesus nor Buddha ever said age can determine how mature you are. As long as you've got your life thought out and have a dedicated man whom will take responsibility, then you're fine.

Centuries ago, you'd be married off and popping out kids before you were 15. Now, even though society has advance, maturity levels have dicipated. You may be ready for a child, but most your age arn't....
