I can't stand the way this guy sings, his voice is soo annoying. I can't get into it because of him. Maybe I would have been into it if I didn't see him in the movie 'Rent', he was annoying in Rent. I think he's cheesy.

@darkgem100 I was in this musical. Art is subjective so we def don't have to agree. But I'd like my Egyptian to be more authentic & macho as it is per MY definition, not yours. I couldn't do BETTER, you're right. I'd simply be doing my version of Radames---but that'd be even funnier than this one. And Aida is not a comedy save for Mareb's anecdotal input. Toodlez!

@etemuru obviously you have never seen this musical. he's a real tough guy, just that Aida brings a softer side to him. plus, if you want to see Adam Pascal tough? try looking him up in the movie version of RENT in the song "Another Day". He's an amazing and very sucsessful actor and it whould be good if you didn't judge since i HIGHLY doubt you could do better. Try watching it before you make asumptions.

I agree on all counts. If they make a movie, it HAS to be these two, or it won't have the same power.

Heather does have a very powerful voice. Dance of the Robes is one of my favorite songs on the soundtrack, mostly because of that 15 second bit near the end, starting with "I know expectations are wild..." Listening to that, and hearing the power in her voice, still gives me the chills to this day, and I've had that CD for two years.
