I still have my iBook G3 500MHz and it's working wonderfully! I upgraded the HDD to 80GB and recently got my hands on a PowerBook G4 15" and I need a new logicboard! Anyone know where I can get one?

That was St.Johns county in northeast Florida. when you pause it at 4:16 you can see the words SJCSD on the laptops. That stands for St.Johns County School District. How do I know this? I was in that program and had a tangerine iBook in second grade. I loved my iBook and it's probably the main reason I'm a Mac user today seven years later.

@appleinfl I know its a year late but I just want to ask, when you where in Second Grade how did your teachers kept the kids from wreaking the iBooks? I have a friend who is a teacher in a school that issues laptops (sadly PC laptops not Macs) to its grade school pupils. He constantly laments the carelessness of his students.

@adryanv We were trained to take good care of them and were warned we would pay the bill if we broke them. I buy the same ones off our local surplus now and most of them are sill in good working condition.

my school back when these came out had these. sadly our district is now switching over to pcs, except for the art and music departments. im a senior in hs now, i remember using these in like 3rd grade. now we have these shitty HP laptops they suck

i just bought this exact ibook for 150 bucks on ebay, it works great.

when you convert euro to dollars, it is an okay deal. I got a 1.33 ghz, g4 aluminum powerbook for 200 euro. because it has a seperate video card, it is a lot more powerful.

we also have a 1.67ghz powerbook g4 with 2gb ram and 120gb and we have a 2.2ghz core2duo macbook so we didn't really need the power, bud it's a nice computer for internet and chatting on msn. and it can as well handle all the ilife 08 software quite well (except for imovie 08, you need a 2ghz g5 for that)
