Aah! Christmas Bird Counts, love 'em! Just got done with my first for this season. I did some owling, got a Northern Pygmy Owl and will be doing the Mt. Hamilton Count at the end of the month!
Cool Mike. I am going on my first this year this Saturday in Anderson Ca. on and around the Sacramento River south of Redding. Hope to see many water birds, raptors and songbirds. The following week is the Redding count. I can't wait!
