  • I remember vividly singing this songs as a child. It is one of my favorites.

  • I love hearing the instruments which our Lord has designed with His own hands!

  • @stephengriffy Perfect! :)

  • Gary L. Mabry- Sir, its a pleasure to sing this song. For the past 40 years my church- since I was 10 years old- has tortured your song by our lame attempts at singing it. May God bless you for providing us with such a wonderful song!- Larry, near Tacoma, WA

  • I LOVE how sweet and precious the Hillbilly view of God is. It is innocent and simple just like very small children. This would be a great song for vacation bible school.

  • We sung this at my friend's funeral. It brings tears to my eyes as I hear it now...

  • wear is Jesus in your body? are you in jesus' body? do you know? Don't hope God is on Your side, pray, and study His Word to learn how to be on God's Side!

Thank You for sharing and reaching out via this avenue, I AM for the Conservative side of Christianity and many would say this is wrong, but I say "RING THE MESSAGE OUT!!!!" (soprano)

  • Thank you for sharing this song I wrote back in 1971 via internet. I wrote it on a transAtlantic flight returning from a Campaign for Christ led by Stanley Shipp. I was a student at Abilene Christian at the time and was worship leader at the Highland Church of Christ. I am so glad that the song is continuing to bless worshippers. God Bless, Gary L. Mabry

  • WOW Gary! I never even considered the idea that the writer would hear this. It is an honor for you to post. I have written 3 hymns. Your post inspires me to teach the song to the church, record a vid, and post it. thank you so much for writing this song and for posting this comment.

  • @church0fchrist Hello, I go to a Church of Christ in Central Florida and I was wondering what is the name of the hymn book you all are singing out of. We're considering getting some new ones. Thanks in advance and God bless :)
