  • These guys played HIROSHIMA on the eve of the 50th anniversary of Pearl? Wow! There's got to be something meaningful in that. Great version. Thanks for the post ta.

  • George's lead fits the song better in my opinion

  • George was always my favorite Beatle...this has always been one of my favorite songs that he wrote & even though this is not his best vocal performance, he still does an excellent job on the guitar. Miss you George!!

  • Great song but sorry... George really bombed the vocals BADLY in this performance.

  • @snowtraveler65 i like the vocals of this one too.

  • lace sensor pick ups, soldano tube amp.s and EC in form !!

  • Please don't say bad schtuff about them. I heard Bob Dylan and Santana played together in 1993 @ Memorial Stadium, Seattle. Dylan opened up and he sang his total classic "Maggies Farm," "All Along the Watchtower," "Mr. Tambourine Man, " Dont think Twice," "It Ain't me Babe," and a few others, people BOO'd him and wanted Santana on. I was in shock! My point is: If you don't know SHYT about music STHU!

  • George was not focused at the beguining of the song... he sang out of key twice...

who would know that 10 years later he would be dead?

  • the real shit

  • George, “…I was with Eric and I was going into the session and I said, ‘We’re going to do this song. Come on and play on it.’ He said, ‘Oh no. I can’t do that. Nobody ever plays on Beatles’ records.’ I said, ‘Look, it’s my song and I want you to play on it.’ So Eric came in and the other guys were as good as gold because he was there. Also, it left me free to do the vocal and play rhythm. Eric's name is not on the album.

  • Two legendary giants of guitar artistry, George Harrison & Eric Clapton. The world lost 2 of it's best, most vocal, advocates for love when John Lennon, and then George Harrison, left us...

  • @Rich....If there is any professional shots of the Japan Concerts...maybe they'll show up in the new Scorsese Documentary?

  • Wasn't there ever a professional shoot of these concerts?

  • @RichYan33 I believe it was once said that there are visual recordings of each Japan performance in the Dark Horse vaults, as George liked bringing a camera/crew with him to film, but to what extent, we won't know until it is revealed. The same goes for the North American tour.

  • I love how Englishmen always stick together. Here's Clapton and Harrison despite the women drama. There are many collaborations with the English - Blackmore and Iommi and Paul Rodgers and May and Ian Gillan and Brian Adams, even all collaborated on the Metropolis sessions to raise money for Armenia - it's an absolute must see! Search "Smoke on the Water Metropolis Sessions" - good stuff.

  • @70sRockChick1 Brian Adams is Canadian !

  • @QueenBeatlesWings:

Okay. George Harrison had throat problems during his AMERICAN tour in the fall of 1974, and NOT the Japan tour of the early 1990s. You can probably find bootleg vids here on YT of the 1974 tour.

  • play it georgie

  • I'm thinking he says "everybody wants to"

  • dhani harrison ya es hora que saques el video completo de la gira de japon...dinero no te falta

  • I reallly wish Ms Harrison woudl put out this concert in full. She's given us 5 songs, this would be wonderful.
