I'm sorry I'm not catching on, but what is Killer 8's difference from 7.

killer 8 is a bonus difficulty in the game killer 7, thats how you could see it :D in killer 7, the enemys have yellow shinig points on thir bodys, which are their critical zones (1 hit = dead) but in killer 8 you can´t see the yellow marked places, either you die in only 1 hit, your energyb ar has no purpose at all there :D

First, they deal a lot more damage when hitting you. A single contact will kill anyone other than Mask or Harman.

Second, they take more damage, so you have to hit them more to bring them down.

Third, their critical hit spots are no longer visible, so you have to guess at where they're located (which means most of the time you'll end up killing them before getting a crit, which means less blood).

I think you may get less blood for everything too. On the plus side you get young Harman.

The critical hotspots are still there. You just can't see them. The Critical Lock-on skill therefore becomes hugely useful.

It is actually MUCH harder, cause every single Smile can kill you, EVERY damn one. Only Mask and Young Harman can take more than one hit. One other thing is you can only carry 5 Tubes of thin blood at a time.

If you ask me, Killer 8 is a nightmare.

Can one of you guys tell me whats so special about the guy at 0:25-0:30 and how you shoot him in the right spots to make him make that noise and go to the Japanese symbols, because when i do it i just shoot him. its on the normal Killer 7, not Killer 8 mode, too.

This happens at the start of every stage. :p The image is just of the target - you just shoot it anywhere. The Japanese characters that show up after shooting the image are just the names of the stages. So in this case it's "Angel" (Tenshi)

Oh. I'm pretty sure that only happens when you resume a game save, after loading - after shooting the image the screen goes red. The Japanese characters only show up when you start a stage right from the start...

I have the PS2 version, though I doubt it'd be any different from the GC version, in this case.

Mask is too loud for me:).I like sniping,coz u can get a lot of blood for upgrades.I know a lot of ppl like Dan,he's like a main character or somethin.I don't like him for some personal reasons I think:D

Con's cool :) I use Kaede mainly for sniping. My personal favourite is definitely Dan :3 I like them all, though.

For killer 8, I use either Dan or Harman, mainly. I've yet to finish it, though - I'm up to the Ulmeyda boss fight *shudders*

As for Mask, at first I didn't use him much cos he was so under-leveled. I started to use him more once he got his gun upgrades, though. :p
