  • Best video ever! Awesome! Useful! Informative! I'm sharing it w/my friends who are just starting to wear makeup. Skin care is so important!

  • Ur video totally make sense!

I use Clean and Clear oil free make up remover and the eye one (which I think does have oil)

I was also recommended the bioderma sensibo but I think the clean and clear does a better job and it's not harsh at all.

    Super cheap too :)

  • people should leave this to people like me in this field....dont give info if your not sure, there is sooo many different types ....you should say "this is my skin and my skin type and this is what worked for me" not you should try this..

  • I loved your video and I learned a lot ^-^

just wondering, what is an astringent and does everyone need to use it? what does it do?

  • @viloy101 An astringent is basically a toner containing large amounts of alcohol ;-) I wouldn't recommend it, very harsh.

  • @bethainy ohh I'm glad I asked you before buying it hehe

thank you so much for taking time to reply =)

btw I love your videos!!! Greetings from Guatemala ^-^

  • I use baby wipes to remove my makeup....yes I still use eye makeup removers but thats cause I use waterproof eye makeup. The wipes are inexpensive, you can buy them anywhere and you get more wipes for the price. There are different types or scents and they are refreshing in the morning. I still use cleansers like proactiv, that hasn't failed me over the past 3 years. But sometimes I will switch it up to Pur Minerals cleaners (natural) Thats what works for me.

  • I'v beeen watching you sense i was probally 11 . you never let me down :)

  • You can make your own oil cleanser: mix olive oil (1/2), castor oil (1/4) and any other oil :)

  • @TheCaroline0991 Yeah, you can... I tried that though and found it to be more difficult and time consuming than the Boscia cleanser :-)

  • @TheCaroline0991 BEST DIY cleanser ever!!!! Takes off makeup, cheap, removes acne and black heads like nothing else out there!!

  • @TheCaroline0991 would that cleanser that you mentioned work for removing eye makeup?

  • @viloy101 Actually both of them will remove everything ;D the baby cleanser and the oil cleanser :)

  • @TheCaroline0991 thank you! I'm gonna try it =)

  • Any baby cleansing gel will work just as fine as the Eucerin product and it's way cheaper :)

  • this is very helpful, thanks! : ) what do you think about the cetaphil cleanser? btw, I looooove your hair, you looks gorgeous.

  • @ajssproductions I'm glad! I've tried Cetaphil and I'm actually not a huge fan, I've heard that it can break people out :-/ However there is a brand called CeraVe which is good!

  • I rarely ever really "Wash" my face... I rinse it in the shower & that's the size of it. Cleansers strip my face so quickly that I get pimples the very next day. Now that I don't wash my face --- I rarely EVER get zits... I "tone" my face with Triple Rose Water & then use Oil of Olay moisturizing lotion (for the face)... Everyone I meet says they love my complexion. I'm going to be 30 on sunday - which when I tell others this, no one believes me LOL

  • @ibkristykat I know i wash my face with cool water unless im wearing makeup only then do i use a basic gentle cleanser with olive oil. They irritate way to much, i wear moisturizer and if my face feels icky mid day i tone it. I'm a lot clearer now then when i was in my crazy skin care phase.

  • @ibkristykat That's AWESOME. My sister rarely washes her face too and when she does, she uses a super gentle, non-foaming, cream cleanser. She has beautiful skin. I have oily skin and I feel like I need to wash my face more often.

  • A toner can actually help minimizing pores and some toners work super to mattify the T-zone.

I used to remove my eye make up with the makeup remover wipes from MAC, then I cleansed my skin with Aqua Marina from Lush, used the Tea Tree Toner from Lush and finished off with Complete Comfort Creme from MAC. Aqua Marina was a bit drying on my skin, but it really did wonders for my skin! Now that my skin look a lot better I've switched it out for Simple's cleansing gel for sensitive skin. Love it!

  • I really like this setup! :D and, I do have a question/problem, I KNOW I should remove my makeup every night (I use ponds makeup remover), but I'm always soo tired, I never want to..... and I know this is HORRIBLE! but I haven't done it in a few days.... ; / I don't really like getting wet, and I just don't like doing it.. but I KNOW I should... PLEASE help me Bethany, I could reeaally use some help! ;) Thank you :)

  • @AGkinz101 Haha. Well, I don't know what to say other than to try some makeup removing wipes... even though they don't remove makeup completely, they will help at least!

  • @bethainy ok, thank you for the reply, it means SO much! :D

  • I'm acne-prone and have some breakouts here and there from time to time. I'm using a spot treatment from Avene (Diacnéal) but it seems to do pretty little. Do you know any other drugstore brand that really works? Thanks!

  • @lavidaemcpel The best treatments I've found are ones which contain Benzoyl Peroxide (you only need about 2.5%). Neutrogena makes a basic spot treatment that works, but I've been using one from the dermatologist that also contains retinol and it's been working amazingly well. It's called Epiduo. I'll make a video later on about acne treatments :-)

  • @bethainy Thanks for the suggestion! I can't wait to see that vid! :D
