I also gotta say that I have great respect for Dan because he refused to ever compromise the bands artistic creativity even when it meant turning down opportuntities to work with prominent producers or bigger record labels that could have potentially made them huge. He refused to sell out. He would rather struggle on a long hard road doing his own music than coast down easy street doing some industry standard commercialized version of his music. Mad props and peace to you, Dan.
People are still turning it out. I agree with cycojay13, they should've been huge. Back when I lived in Albany, Dan was a really close friend. I used to film the shows at QE2 for them, hell, I even used to cut his hair. lol.
i can't believe im seein this shit on youtube, the clay people are the group that really got me into music, 15 years old goin to shows, those were the days, whoever uploaded this, bless your heart
I was born and raised in Albany NY, and I've been to at least 30 Clay People shows - they're my local band and I freakin' adore them to this day. Now I live in Osaka Japan. Thank you thank you THANK YOU a thousand times over to the wonderful person who uploaded this, you've brought back a thousand precious memories for me.

You lucky bastard. I still haven't seen them live. They're by far my favorite band. I have pretty much all of their cds. The new one kicks ass, too.
