Dexter is up with the most impressive people in music in my opinion.

First of all, I know no one else that can play riffs like these and sing WELL.

Second, he is one of the only people nowadays that actually means everything he sings. You can see that he is just about to cry singing this.

It's not just Dexter though. Greg K's bass parts are actually extremely good, as well as Noodles' guitar riffs. Ron Welty (old drummer) was incredible. Look up Jennifer Lost the War for him.

@Greendayfan131313. I agree with you about being one of the most impressive people in the music business, but not for those reasons. The riffs are extremely simple and offspring overall is very easy tecnhically.

I totally agree about your second point and i find it pretty incredible that dexter has a masters degree and biology, licensed pilot, owner of a sausage company (lol) and still makes great music. he's like the eternal teenager. it's pretty unique in the music business
