This record was made in New York on January 8, 1936 and released as Decca 680. The flip side, recorded at the same session, was "The Music Goes 'Round and 'Round."
I appreciated hearing this again. However, a point of correction: Mae Questel did not do work for Van Beuren Studios. She worked exclusively for Fleischer and Famous Studios for her cartoon voice work during the 1930s through the 1950s, and independently during the television era. She was not the voice of FELIX THE CAT, MINNIE MOUSE (Marcellite Garner), LITTLE LULU (Cecil Roy) Also, she was not the regular voice of CASPER THE FRIENDLY GHOST (Cecil Roy and others).
