  • Look at all these moron talking about how he cant do pullups. First off, those arent normal pullup, those are reverse grip pullups, they're harder to do. second, you try doing that when you weigh 300+ pounds. You can brag about all the pullups you can do, when you're less than 200 lbs.

  • @kazePomme Everyone is refering to the lack of core muscle he has to need a spotter to hold his legs in order to keep his body straight so he can do a pullup. Ive worked with a guy who used to be a gymnast and he was 6' 3" 230lbs at the time. In his peak he was 254lbs and could grab hold of any two horizontal bars and hold himself flat out for 15 seconds easy. He could pull himself up and almost over a pullup bar with one arm. True fitness is being able to handle yourself, not just benchpress.

  • @Penisbaby101 your friend who used to be a gymnast could hold himself flat off of two horizontal bars...I'd imagine thats something hes trained himself to do because he is a gymnast. Jay is not a gymnast, he is a bodybuilder. Thinking there is only one "true fitness" is close-minded. Some people would define fitness solely by your level or cardio, some define it by your ability to balance yourself (you), and some define it as pure raw strength. Not everyone measures themselves the same way.

  • @kazePomme I do understand where you are coming from to an extent. We have worked together on the farm for many years before he went the gymnast rout. In a way he sort of trained, as our daily job is very demanding on the body, but he simply grabbed onto the fencepost one day while joking around and found out he could do the human flag with much ease. We have had guys come work with us who were bulked up and huge, they couldnt keep up because the rest of their body was in no shape to perform.

  • @Penisbaby101 Fitness and bodybuilding is two different things. Offseason I can do 4 pullups at the most, onseason I can do 10 or more. When you get too heavy, gets hard to do a pullup, no matter how strong you are. The last days of my competition diet I can barely walk. But I can manage push ups and pullups better than the rest of the year.

I watched again just in case you were right , and i noticed he only talks about using hus wife as a spotter to stop his hips swinging when he was doing PULLOVERS. CHines ie the exercise he did where he pulled his body up towards the bar. He couldnt even do one rep alone till his wife grabbed his feet. I aint saying hes weak, hes just too heavy to do it alone. Back in the day he would have been able to chins with weight strapped to him.

We just have to agree to disagree here, cause im sure im right and when i say back in the day i mean just for Jay, im sure some other BB can still do it, the lighter ones. And no jay did not have any weights strapped to him here he was struggling even with his body weight, i meant other bodybuilders used to to use weight about 5-6 years ago, none of them do that anymore, except maybe the really small ones.

  • I love shrugs but I always feel like my form is suffering when I do them. My elbows tend to bend when I get near the end of my reps which means I'm bringing biceps into it, but for the life of me I can't seem to stop.

  • @skudzer1985 if ur doing them using dummbells, keep the elbow slightly bent throughout the movement. at least thats how i do them
