Why do Germans always make big things small? It's like when Germans make Unreal Tournament and Counter Strike maps. They're always a giant bedroom or kitchen or some shit.
The work piece is parallel to the to the rotating arm.
It will always grind flat even if the base of the machine was on a 35 degree angle. The grinding disc is mearly a point of contact between the work piece and rotating arm.
This is exactly the same principle as used in "full scale" machine work, this is just scaled down for the modeler to use at home. Careful measuring compensates for grind wear, as our canadian friend said it will always be flat but I assume you are thinking of dimensional change.
The grinding wheel will wear on the leading edge of the cut, that is towards the back of the machine, so it'll take a reasonable amount of machining before it'll actually create a measurable change in the finished dimension of the workpiece. Certainly the amount that's being removed here won't be a problem.
you suck

Your block won't be flat as the grind disc wears over time !
