The one thing your doing wrong is killing those liitle bitches cause until you will not kill The Beast bargheits will appear forever. Use Aadr, strong style, and after couple second The Bitch Is Dead.
I was looking forward track it down and kill it, but NOOOO! I got spawned in the middle of 3-4 barghests including the Almighty Invincible Beast! Plus the flames that makes me take damage while unprotected, and the fact that I heal slow (even with swallow potion ++), and Abigail takes a bloody nap from the start! Plus I don't know how to aquire Spectre Oil... Im screwed and I know it... I love the game in general! Its fantastic and all.. But the difficulty on this one boss. ..
@walterwz lmao exactly what i did earlier today. Works wonders. Just spam group style "c" on minions and when u have beast to himself just whack the crap outta him and then run for dear life again lol
i think i tried 30 times on hard difficulty before i finally gave up and restarted everything on medium. fml. i tried stunning him, that didnt work. it didnt occur to me that the buff was essential. i did use the buff in medium and even then i was getting destroyed.

With their stupid cutscenes, and their stupid no-saves, and their stupid inventory limit and their stupid innkeeper dying after you give him all your sword enhancements valubales. So you are left in the cave before the stupid fight with their stupid fight system with your stupid weak sword and your stupid dick in your hand, while you have to watch the stupid cut scene for stupid 99 times, before the stupid beast kills you!
I killed The Beast by going between the shed and the house where it can't reach to heal, whist burning it with Igni, emerging with full health until I get low again. Kind of cheap, but it works (I wasn't prepared for the fight when I got into it, and didn't have the super fun buzz talent, unfortunately).
This is my first time playing this, and im a bit confused on how to make potions and all, so i didnt worry about making the spectre oil, can this still be done without the spectre oil? Im doing this on medium and dying like its going out of fashion
After about fifteen attempts on hard, I accidentally clicked the choice to let the villagers kill Abigail. After that, the Beast only lasted 5 seconds (scored a stun on the first try). I'm going to play it a few more times and see if the choice to kill Abigail makes it easier to stun the Beast. Great video!

The easiest way to dispose of The Beast is, learn the "Buzz" talent, which gives you immunity to pain when you're drunk (and a nice bonus damage). Drink one bottle of strong alcohol, and no problem with the pain shit. Then just stick close to abigail.
Thunderbolt will also double your attack speed. Then geralt has a nice little story to tell at the pub. "They called The Beast a tought one, but I beat it while drunk!"

you can beat the beast by getting a lucky stun with the first sign(forgot the name) an then one shot killing it

Kited the fuck out of him once when I got low to let the girl heal me. Used Spectre oil and Buzz when intoxicated, went very well

The difficulty range in this game is so fucking skewed.
It's easy to kill Barghests, Drowners, Ghouls and all that shit. But when you get to the Beast, it's fucking ridiculous.
