I bought this album because it was on sale in a bargain bin in a shop and at the time i didn't have any eric dolphy in my cd collection and i'd heard he was good (i know now he's way better than good) listened to the album through and this was the stand out track, then read the liner notes and found out it was dedicated to thelonious monk, my favourite composer, "blow me!" thought I. Not bad for a two pound bargain bucket cd!
Essential..A masterpiece! Glad hear younger people getting this, that's what matters. Thx for the post
