@videocircus Really??? They remade the film 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' in 2005 as 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' (CCF) with a pop soundtrack by Danny Elfman. It is this version which bears similarities.

@videocircus Not sure if my first reply worked... what I said was that the comment is referring to thr remake of Charlie - some of the music is similar, especially Violete's theme (i think). Plus Elfman's soundtrack was probably inspired by Toys, being a factory an' all that - Toys being a Horn/Zimmer collaboration.

@videocircus Referring to the remake - the soundtrack has some similarities, esp. with Violet's song. The soundtrack for CCF was probaly inspired a bit by the music from Toys, which itself was, as you may know, was a Horn/Zimmer collaboration.

I bought the single immediately after hearing the song. That is a long time ago ... But who made this video? It is absolutely fantastic! It makes the song even better, and relevant today.

Thanks for the comp. I made this video a couple of years ago and posted it to Youtube under my old account. But then in January of last year I re-mixed the images to produce what you see here.

If you search the buggles album Adventures In Modern Recording you will notice that I have actually made a video out of every song on the album and posted them here on Youtube. Before I made the videos the only Buggles video you could get on Youtube was Video Killed The Radio Star.
