I think you are correct. At the time I made this video I did not confirm about the gloves of silence, but they are better used for pickpocketing. I only used 1 -2 food items since I was 126 combat at the time (prior to summoning being out), people with lower hitpoint health and defense should probbaly use more. Also the less food you keep in your inventory, the more artifacts you can keep as you loot. The golden ones are worth the most with Simon at the agility pyramid.
The prayer book is from the Great Brain Robbery quest. You do not have to finish it in order to get the book and to use. It is located in the monestary bookshelf to the west of Edgeville. Last I heard, some groups use world 64 to play this minigame. Try there, or search on Runescape forums for a newer world. Disregard 120, it is now apparently an f2p world, but two years ago it was p2p. Good luck!

True on the door changing rapidly, but I always used crowded worlds to my advantage. I could see doors other players ahead of me failed to open, and know not to attempt them, thus saving me time by eliminating doors. Of course if someone successfully entered a door ahead of me, I would instantly know to run for that door. Does this tactic make sense? Either method, its best for players to try to see which works best for them..

Start whenever you want once you are 21+. I thought this mini game was the fastest way to raise thieving levels. I started at level 72, but that was because this mini game was released (July 2006) after I had started training the thieving skill in 2005.
Yes, you give the mummy pottery, stone or gold trinkets that you keep from playing the mini game in exchange for him to recharge it, but I think the mummy only recharges your sceptre when it is completely out of charges.

I never played for 12 hours in one day, but if you took no breaks you could potentialy achieve getting something between 1.8 Million and 2.4 Million experience in that time frame.
Searching it takes more time, it depends on which room you are in. The further in you go, you ought to search the urns to gain more experience, and in lower rooms that you plunder in just check and the snake instantly appears for half the experience.

well you cant just start it and go on in, you have to do so much of the quest to get in but its not much if you're just starting it to go in sophanem hten it should only take like 5 minutes.
That quest starts outside the city, near the agility pyramid at a cave. Try talking to the Npc located there, or check your quest log to see what your next step is.
i just dont agree u going to bank every run.. wastes a lot of time.. i did with duel ring, took 3 super anti (4) then rest was tunas, i did all 12 runs wasting all food and pots, and i gone to duel arena, have a duel to restore my stats and poison and energy and i come back with sceptre.. i think it is easier..
I only banked when I became low on food or needed to bank golden trinkets (as I did keep those for extra cash in stead of dropping). Also, some people with low combat stats may or may not be able to do several runs, but your tip is appreciated.
The mummy randomly switches doors every few minutes, notice that there are four doors into the pyramid. If you're playing on a world that many other people are also playing, watch to see which door they are going into to determine where the mummy might be located, similar to how the doors switch inside once you are advancing in each room.
I would think that the value of a sceptor would protect over food as in grand exchange its worth quite a bit. I suppose thats one of those items we all ought to check on "items kept upon death" inventory before taking risks with slow internet connections or semi-dangerous in game situations such as playing with hitpoints maintained at around 20. I hope you manage to thieve yourself another one to replace it, best of luck.

Not exactly. You can get poisoned from the snakes in the urns. after one of them gets you, drink a super antipoison. One dose should protect you from further poison for the rest of your run. You should also bring good food with you, as you can fail and be dealt damage many times.
I only played 2-4 hours daily a year ago. You are correct in saying that alot of people can achieve it faster, but thats only if one is able to play several hours each day.
Thats the way I did it, it gives you maximum experience for the five minutes you are provided. Unless of course you have really low thieving levels, such as below 60, then you might be able to search all the rooms up to your highest, otherwise just run through to the last two and loot / search as you mentioned.
yes you can thieve them from the gold chest's in the middle of each room it is a very slight chance though thats why many buy their first scepter for teleports to the pyramid you can also achieve them from thieveing the sarcophagus (butchered that spelling) but more often then not you end up unleashing a mummy that attacks others and thats certainley not a way to acheive 99 thieving while having tolerance for others hope this answers your questions anymore? pm me ingame
It all depends how much time you play each day. Some people claim they can achieve 99 thieving in 2-4 weeks. I did level 71 - 99 thieving in three weeks, only playing pyramid plunder 2-3 hours a day.
i used back than got thieving there just like you lock picks super anti pots and pineapple pizas to get the banking time to minimum

Just click it to search, dont bother checking it. You may get poisoned but it doesnt hit hard.

Yes. Take artefacts such as gold, stone or pottery to the ancient Guardian Mummy of the Tomb of Kings in Sophanem inside the Pyramid of Jalsavrah (the one where you start this game) and it will recharge your sceptre.

Not exactly. You can get poisoned from the snakes in the urns. after one of them gets you, drink a super antipoison. One dose should protect you from further poison for the rest of your run. You should also bring good food with you, as you can fail and be dealt damage many times.

False, you will still be low health and poisoned. That is why it is a good idea to take food and anti poison with you!

I only played 2-4 hours daily a year ago. You are correct in saying that alot of people can achieve it faster, but thats only if one is able to play several hours each day.

It took me 3-4 weeks from level 71. It does not take long if you train thieving at pyramid plunder.

Ok, so u keep finding doors until your last 2 rooms, where you search urns and the chest on ur very last room??

Thats the way I did it, it gives you maximum experience for the five minutes you are provided. Unless of course you have really low thieving levels, such as below 60, then you might be able to search all the rooms up to your highest, otherwise just run through to the last two and loot / search as you mentioned.

ok heres my strat:
in the second last room u should check all urns and move on
in the best room you can u check and search all of the urns and then search the golden chest and leave
at lvl 85 i get like 13k-14k exp in a run
i think mine is better then yours
but stil nice vid helped me alot: 5/5

yes you can thieve them from the gold chest's in the middle of each room it is a very slight chance though thats why many buy their first scepter for teleports to the pyramid you can also achieve them from thieveing the sarcophagus (butchered that spelling) but more often then not you end up unleashing a mummy that attacks others and thats certainley not a way to acheive 99 thieving while having tolerance for others hope this answers your questions anymore? pm me ingame

how long will it take to get from 81-99 in pryamid plunder if i play 4-6 hours a day?
P.S- I atleast level once a day. ( maybe more, but nothing less )

You could possibly achieve 99 within 1-2 weeks. You sound very goal oriented and determined, I wish you luck!

It all depends how much time you play each day. Some people claim they can achieve 99 thieving in 2-4 weeks. I did level 71 - 99 thieving in three weeks, only playing pyramid plunder 2-3 hours a day.

I am a bit confused of what you are asking. This is for the thieving pyramid plunder mini game, not the pyramid for the quest or agility pyramids.
