lol in fallout 3 I wore chinese jumpsuit with biker goggles and combat helmet....while using the .223 rifle......in New Vegas.....I used the ranger vest outfit with a hat (cant remember which) and both cowboy repeater and 357 revolver fully upgraded....so far I havent found just what I wanna wear with a hunting rifle but......all my rifle shoot straight and true....and are kept clean and deadly.....lol face

Don't use true iron sights, or use it un-sighted. The sights are off center and you have to aim below the enemy.

@rockincat12 good thing with hunting rifle in new vegas is that you can attach a scope to it, thus making it a good weapon for the whole game

@JustUrby no andy teache the ranger takedown.. in 3rd person it's a sewp kick.. but in 1st person it looks the same as the palm move.. and the palm move is a random move that i gained in a perk

@MrJameswalsh The HRifle in Fallout3 was a cheap, common, crappy weapon. In New Vegas its a very effective sniper with a scope. You'll start finding them on Fiends at around level 8 or so.

@GizmoHarper When using a melee or unarmed weapon, hold the attack button while moving backwards to perform a stun attack.

I'm still having fun with the varmint rifle and cowboy repeater (I have a thing for leverguns). Can't wait to try out that bolt-action .308. Didn't have the heart to kill Harland since he reminds me of Rorschach, otherwise would have one already. Found a Magnum Research BFR in .45-70. Wish you could take the scope off. Lame that you can't. Would be better if accessories worked like in STALKER and you could add or remove as needed.
