why cant you people understand that when you speak a different language, or rather talking to people who speak different than you in general, you try to talk in a way in which whoever listening will understand. she knows that the audience she is targeting in Bride and Prejudice is the same audience this interview is directed towards. If she talks in an indian accent, she knows it would be difficult for americans to understand her, so she alters her accent. she does this in the film as well.
