@7StringSeven Maybe im tired of this sick Progressive thing. I miss the old times metropolis 2000, take the time, PULL ME UNDER, songs with progressive stuff but the most important for me, melody.

Dream Theater is starting to sound more like video game music or music for teenagers.

How do you learn these songgs so fast, help me out, i have been playing for 16yrs and I know there are ways to slow down the song to learn, but how do you do it, what do you practice, alternate picking sweeping scales , please help I just want to improve my playing, thanks

I actually think there should be two 16th notes added in place of the open G string. It sounds like an F# and an A on the low E string to me.

FIX: There is an additional note I didn't play here which was brought to my attention by Denis Oliveira (my vocalist). It's an open G string (16th note) right where I do the 8th note pause. So instead of the full pause, pick the open G and only then pause for the duration of a 16th note. Half G, Half Pause! If you don't know where that is, it's at the very end of the 2nd measure ( 00:15 1:00 2:14 ). It's a minor fix, but still worth pointing out! TC
