I was stationed at Hovey from Dec 71 till Jan 73, looked it up on Google Earth and couln't even recognize the gate to Toko-ri! I was with 1/38th inf, the 1/9th, and I think the 1/23rd were also there. Sure had a lot of fun riding the Kimchi cabs to TDC!

Was at Hovey 1987 1st Bn 503rd Infantry, was the 1st Bn 23rd Infantry, they changed to the 503rd while I was there. Camp Hovey was 1st All Infantry Brigade two Bn's on Hovey and one at Ft. Lewis, WA. "All Infantry Brigade"

No best day in Korea, just one piss bowl, I do'n care how far the place has come. Some one should wipe the place off the face of the earth. God for got to place anything good there. Too much rain, too dam hot, too much snow, too dam cold. More worse the people don't want us there. It's one toilet bowel

i guess any unit is what you make of it. I was in 2nd fsb. 91-92. I made some good friends, had a few laughs. My best day was getting on the plane to leave

Who made this propaganda video? I'm STILL stationed on Cp. Hovey and I hate every day of it. 10Jun09 is the LAST day I will see Korea and I'm (im)patiently waiting.

r u crazy camp casey may 03-aug04 then deployed with 2nd bct to iraq good times, even got demoted for knockin out some clown from 1st tank lol DEUCE TANK TO THA CORE

djibrow3 is right on, I was there (camp Casey) from July of 94 till December 95 involuntary extension, missed it by three days. If you were there, you know what I'm talking about.
