they're not famous because MTV and fuse only like poser music. The world's not yet at such a high musical level to enjoy prototype. Prototype is way too awesome of a band to be selling out.
If you haven't heard the band "Damn the Machine" with Chris Poland from Megadeth and his brother playing drums I think, I highly suggest it. IMO Prototype and Damn the Machine are in a similar vain.
