I'm a fan of Kwiecien's, I greatly admire his voice and artistry. So I was disappointed in this performance. It should be exuberant and high spirited. He just sounds angry, IMHO.

He often stresses syllables for no reason (this is typical of AMATEUR singers, not of someone of Kwiecien's lofty level).

There are many places of faulty intonation.

This aria is written to be sung "as fast as possible" but Marius obviously is doing it "faster than possible". I'm sure he'll do it better at the Met.
