It's easy to do and it saves you TONS of mulah. The quantity depends on how much you want to make. It's also a good way to control what goes in to it. I use plain whole milk with yogurt culture I got from a very small container of organic plain greek style yogurt. The type of milk is your choice, as well as your additives. I use fresh fruit cut into chunks and a little stevia for sweetness. Very yum!
in my opinion you will pay about half of what you would spend on groceries at other health food stores/ whole foods at trader joes and get the same quality. I love them! and they have good wine for 1.99! For occasional use of course ;-)

Almond milk is amazing! I usually get the sweetened variety which is 90 calories per cup, but both of them taste great in smoothies and baking.
I do a fair amount of shopping at Trader Joe's too. They have a blueberry green tea that is just divine!
Oh, and I'm pretty sure the Trader Joe's enchilada is the same as the Amy's one, just with different packaging. They taste the same, and the Trader Joe's ones are cheaper, so get them there!
