@bububububak I tore the ligements in my arm and when it was healing Jax pulled to get to a female dogs and retore the ligaments. The spikes on are applied if the dog pulls. I did not walk him very often mostly we would go to the park or the beach. He was a Big Baby and sometime i would just leave the collar on to make him look tuff ! he passed at age 14. He is missed ! @krsonegirl i know spikes are a common practice, but it's not the best solution nevertheless, because it may seriously hurt the dog. I'm sorry for your loss. Still, 14 years is a good age, he was happy to be here that long...

They need to take these guys that do dog fights and let the dogs bite their faces, necks, arm, legs, and then beat them when they cry because it hurts, and then let the dogs bite them some more, then throw them in a crate with no water, food, or medical attention. If they survive, their term of punishment has been served. If they die, justice has been served.

@keilub collars like this are used often for dogs of a more stubborn/independent nature. I am not sure if you have ever had a Pit Bull, American Bulldog, Boxer, etc... They are all of the Bull Biter Breed and if put on a rope collar they can actually do damage to their throats because of the pressure they put on themselves against regular collar and leash. The prong collars tighten all the way around and is more of an attention getter. They do not puncture the skin and they are not sharp.
michael vick chew toy for dogs is the most epic idea since kong was invented... but do you seriously walk and old dog in a spike collar?

@bububububak It's a prong collar. It's just negative reinforcement. It's unpleasant but doesn't really HURT. They're not sharp spikes.
