That was the "prop wash" from the helicopter: the downdraft from the helicopter blades taking the explosion smoke and whirling it around.

it was from the begining of the movie where big ass ravage, the wheelie type decipticon comes out of hiding..that explosion is when he transforms..guy is huge as hell

that one-wheeled decepticon being killed by optimus prime is so cool! it happened at this scence, if im not wrong..

i wonder, can the cars really transform, or do they pause while filming and then transform it? :S

In real life, when acting, optimus prime is just a stick with a tennis shape like ball on top of it. The rest is all CGed, well except for the cars version. Cars are real. 8D

I wish the robots are real though. :(

What i meant was the robots. Sorry i wasn't stating clearly. Of course the helicopters and planes were real. But you can't really expect them to transform into robot are you?

The ironhidemegaprime person was wondering if they were driving the cars, pause the filming and bring out an actual real size robot? I was just telling him that that transformation progress and the robots were fake.
