My Father designed the bridge over the spill way a 0:10 . SCE&G had a bunch or creosote timber on hand and he was told to utilize it. The original purpose was to be able to drive a truck from the power house upstream to check the locks upstream on the tow path road. Now it's mostly used for foot traffic.
