Unfortunately, I don't think a complete G-N-R reunion is possible for one reason: Steven Adler. He's seriously screwed up on drugs and alcohol, and apparently he has become extremely unreliable...when you're the drummer, that's particularly problematic because the other band members often rely on the drums as cues for when they're supposed to play (or sing) their part of the song. As cool as it would be to see the original drummer back, I would argue that Matt Sorum was the best.

The first time I heard ChiDem, the majority of the tracks I either hated or felt were completely unremarkable, but I kept listening to them, on recommendation of other GN'R fans. It's a massive and deep record, it takes several listens to appreciate it fully. $la$h is a very good guitar player, but don't try to say that opinion puts everything on the same level, some things are just BETTER than others.

Unfortunately, I don't think a complete G-N-R reunion is possible for one reason: Steven Adler. He's seriously screwed up on drugs and alcohol, and apparently he has become extremely unreliable...when you're the drummer, that's particularly problematic because the other band members often rely on the drums as cues for when they're supposed to play (or sing) their part of the song. As cool as it would be to see the original drummer back, I would argue that Matt Sorum was the best.

Steven was as big a part of gnr then any other member. @PMcM1007 Axl came to Reading early by his standards, the indie crowd booed and cheered, the organizers turned off his power earlier than they said they would, Axl protested this by playing Paradise City acoustically through a megaphone. They eventually left, and afterwards the festival continued to have music played into the early hours of the morning. They were taking revenge at GN'R for their last performance at Leeds in '02.

@0wen1666 Bumble is better than $la$h, and DJ is about equal to $la$h. The first time I heard ChiDem, the majority of the tracks I either hated or felt were completely unremarkable, but I kept listening to them, on recommendation of other GN'R fans. It's a massive and deep record, it takes several listens to appreciate it fully. $la$h is a very good guitar player, but don't try to say that opinion puts everything on the same level, some things are just BETTER than others.

And ChiDem proves Axl doesn't need Izzy. New fanbase? Somewhat, but also true fans from the old fanbase who realize $la$h isn't needed to make a great record. Fans suffer? I heard reviews from actual fans at the show, THEY LOVED IT.
As far as the vocals go Axl's never been better. Power, range, consistency.

Take $la$h for example, he did the most out of those three, still not nearly as much as Izzy or Axl. He's a very good guitar player, so are many others, Bumblefoot is better, and DJ is right on par with your precious $la$h. Axl however, is completely inimitable. Not to mention a great songwriter.
