Manny is smart of a boxer. Do know that he adjusts to his opponent. The Cotto fight is a prime example. He had trouble in the early rounds. His later tactics, especially KO #2 of that fight, it started with the rope-a-dope defense.

Manny is smart of a boxer. Do know that he adjusts to his opponent. The Cotto fight is a prime example. He had trouble in the early rounds. His later tactics, especially KO #2 of that fight, it started with the rope-a-dope defense.
It's going to be a good fight, perhaps even a close one against Mayweather.

I love Manny, he is the most entertaining fighter to watch and always gives you your money's worth. Floyd can be boring to watch sometimes but his skill is undeniable. Floyd will beat Manny because he does everything Manny can do, only better. Manny has NEVER fought a pure boxer like Floyd. But I do say that if they were to fight 10 times, Floyd would win the majority because he has more tools than Manny. How many "legit" welters has Pacman fought? Clottey, Cotto and De la Hoya. That's it. Notice that he couldn't put away Clottey. He handled Cotto because Cotto has weak defensive skills and Pacman was just faster. De la Hoya was washed up. Floyd is not a natural welter either, he started at 130. It's a good matchup, maybe we'll see it someday.

Still more than Floyd has faced. And Floyd's been in the welterweight division longer than Pac.
Pac was just a super featherweight back in March 2008. One pitstop at lightweight and one pitstop at jr. welter. Considering that, that's one hell of an accomplishment.
Floyd started at 130 alright. But Pac came from even lower, at 106. So he had to climb higher up than Floyd in the pro ranks.
Like I said, hopefully they'll get it on.

if flyod is so much better than pacquaio then why did he make so many requests before fighting him..other than the blood tests, he even asked that they use thicker gloves, dudes fuckin scared and is just ducking pacman.and yea, flyod had a better fight against marquez, but pacquiao made hatton and delahoya look like amateurs in the ring but flyod went all 12 rounds with both those 2 guys..

I can't say whether he is scared of Pacman or not, negotiations before fights on things such as what gloves to use is something that everyone does. I don't know what GOOD reason Pacman would have to refuse a blood test tho. Hatton is a gift fight for someone like Pacman-he walks straight into your punches. Pacman is a knockout fighter, Floyd is not. And come on, De la Hoya was washed up before Floyd even fought him!

BigChampDaddy @ i think if pac and may would fight manny would beat him by catching him on his jab and then using his speed and endurance in the later rounds to win. just remeber he is not the same fighter with JMM he was too much a one dimensional fighter he changed that with his fight with hoya and now uses hes right more often.

@YV07111985 i have never seen floyd or pac tired in a fight they both have excellent conditioning i think its going to be more about who can impose his style on the other will it be a slow tactical or a fast pased fight

Bruh, damn near all of Floyd's fights go the distance so I don't see your point. You wanna base everything on a fighters history and that just can't be done.....any and everybody can be beat. Ali got beat by Frazier, Frazier got knocked out by Foreman, Foreman got knocked out by Ali.....thats boxing.

Wahlberg is a huge boxing fan and has a full size ring in his house. He said on Joe Buck that he is friends with Floyd and Manny, more so Manny, but Floyd came over and they trained in his gym. Floyd made a comment to Mark that I hope you would support your country just like the Phillipines do. There were a thousand US soldiers there that were applauding. Manny has his whole country plus millions around the world, but guess what. HE WILL NOT BEAT FLOYD MAYWEATHER......SORRY !!!
