  • That's o.k. if you're a lightweight. Each one of us is an individual, but folks in the wls community have all gone through the experience you are getting ready for on Friday. Prior to WLS, I'd had two C-sections and an abdominal hysterectomy and the laparoscopic Roux En Y was a piece of cake compared to that! Best wishes and good luck.

  • Thats great to know !! I have had one C-Section and that was the worst !!!

  • Open vs Lap. I had open, never considered Lap because I didn't care about the scar. I had a Hiatal Hernia repaired 20 years ago. I had RR tracks on my stomache from that surgery. My WLS surgeon attempted to cut them out, but they were wide. You are on the "smaller" side of WLS (lightweight lol) I dod not see any external issues that would cause you to have to go with open. Keep up on your liquid diet, liver will be pliable and you will get Lap, I'm sure! You will do GREAT!

  • darn, I left 2 comments here, and they are gone now. I will look back later and see if they re-appear.
