why dont those screws do anything for me?, i tighten them all the way an nothing still rubs against the front derailer. the back one works fine but the front wont go up to 2 or 3. the gear turn for 3 is incredibly stiff. Gear one for the front derailer works fine apart from when the back gears got above 4 then it starts to rub on the front drailer.
'Ive tryed everything..lossing/inc tension. The hi and lo which seem to do nothing and the positioning of the derailer.
lol, top notch stuff. you should label it as "information for total beginners for choosing the road bike casette" there wasn't one tip concerning gearing other than choosing between two casettes or stupid idea of getting the mountain bike gears onto the road one... sorry but unuseful video
I ride a Trek 5200 on charity mountain road rides. I changed out my 12X27, or 12X25 Ultegra road cassette and derailler set up. Replaced it with a 11X32 mountain cassette and a Deore long arm derailler. Couple of my rides are several miles of nothing but climbs. Tour de Tuck, in Sylva for one. Works like a charm! I am 58 years old (old man), so I need all the help I can get. Oh, I had to put on a much longer chain too.
