  • i really want a Wild Arms for the PS3 :(

  • Fucking cry everytime I listen to this beautiful song. One of the bests RPG's of all time.

  • @SquallBerserk Hell yeah man, me too.

  • When I have the game as a child, first thing I go every morning before going to school was to play this, not because I want to beat it, but because of the music. It was the most wonderful music ever, and it's still is and very touching. I miss this. Why can't openings of game be just as good, I know there are some good ones, but sometime just music like this get the point across better.

  • oh, this game is classic.. i liked how the main character, "ITS MORPHIN TIME !!", turn into red knight or gold knight xD

  • Thumbs-up if u watch this opening everytime you load the game !!!!!

  • YOU BOTH MAD

  • This is my favorite game opening song ever and this game is my favorite game ever. I grew up playing this game along with Wild Arms 3 and loved them both. Now I am replaying both and loving them so freaking much! and this makes me love the game all over again each time I listen to it!

  • @greatrieck i wish my copy of the game wasn't messed up and i had a PS2 or PSone to play it on. I feel like a dweeb because it took me 4 years to beat but it was mostly due to getting stuck in certain areas and putting off playing it but..god i miss playing this late at night.

  • @thelargefry It's worth 4 years to play man, so don't feel like a dweeb for that. Did you ever play Wild Arms 3 though? Cuz if you liked this Wild Arms, you would for sure like Wild Arms 3.

  • @greatrieck yeah i did, i remember when they came out with the demo and i played the heck out of that before the release of the game. What sucked was i brought it with me to school because i was going to go to my dads one week after school and some douche stole it, GTA3 and my copies of the Wild Arms Anime. I never got justice for that terrible day but i figured it was a bunch of kids who were bullying me that year.

  • @thelargefry That really sucks dude. Wait.... They had a demo!? Well, then again, I was in 3rd grade when I got the game and WA2 as well.

  • @greatrieck yeah, i was at least 13 when it came out. Heck i was playing SNES when i were in 3rd grade that and Playstation.

  • @thelargefry I never owned an SNES but, Playstation I did own. I played mostly RPG's though since they had interesting stories back then. Not saying they don't now though

  • @greatrieck I was mostly into the WWF/WWE games back around the 90's. When GTA 3 came out for the PS2 and so forth, those have really been the only games i was ever into until the Assassin's Creed series came out.

  • @thelargefry Assassin's Creed is a fun series too, I never played the WWF/WWE games though.

  • @greatrieck the old smack down games up till 2007 was good wrestling games. i stopped playing afterwards. mostly GTA series from then.

  • @thelargefry Closest I have actually played to GTA is Red Dead Redemption if that counts at all. Oh, and Mafia again if that counts

  • @greatrieck I never played any of the Mafia Games. Red Dead Redemption was an amazing game that Rockstar came out with, actually better than GTA IV.

  • @thelargefry Thats what a lot of my friends say about Red Dead Redemption. But then again, my friends didn't really like GTA IV. I again, havent played, but can't since still in highschool

  • One of the few instances where I prefer the english openings. That wailing trumpet, man...

  • love this intro!

  • i love this game so much the first and second rocks so much but this 1 has better opening song i got so far on the game untill my file was deleted but i restarted the game 3 times more its annoying when you first start off as the girl so w/e im gonna try it 1 last time for this legendary game

  • i think i remember this one....a guy name ashley or brad...something like that?

  • Couldn't really get into the first wild arms but this one was had me the first time i played the demo.

  • first wild arms is better, yet i loved this one too

  • The japanese version is more beatiful.

  • why didn't they make an anime with the same style? it would be epic

  • @tubehiki They did. It's called Wild Arms TV. It's not the best anime ever made but it's pretty entertaining and the ending it pretty cool!

  • probably the only game I had so many controller throwing moment

  • such a nostalgia :)

  • love this game

  • I downloaded this game for the my PSX emulator and upon seeing this scene I deleted it. A game like this cannot be confined to a computer, It MUST be played on a console.

  • @16RandomDude it cost me a lot, but i managed to pick this game up for my PS last week at an anime convention :P

  • @chinangel You talking about the London Expo ? .... I saw some games there too but i had everything i could ever want anyway....Vandal Hearts 1 & 2 .... Suikoden..... Breath of Fire.... FF 7 & 8 ..... Grandia.... Wild Arms..... I cant think of anymore off by heart right now.

  • @shidoj Legends Of Dragoon was a classic too.

  • @16RandomDude Agreed, I just downloaded it off the PSN Network. VERY happy I did, I don't remember where I put my original copy :(

  • My first ever RPG game played and enjoyed....

  • this still wont beat the first D:

  • The first 20 seconds are my favorite part of this opening.

  • love this game and the music "sniff sniff tear good old days!"

  • where i can find the ps version opening songs >_<

  • the first rpg I played pretty good in life

  • one of my fav RPG.. now i still have it in my PC and play it through the emulator :)

  • It's not the best Wild Arms ever. But it's the best music of wild arms.

  • My very favorite rpg of all time. Love Brad and Kanon.

  • One of the best and first RPGs I ever played. Sad that my Ps1 broke down though.

  • @adikkuchan If you have Ps3 you can download it from the PSN. My Ps1/Ps2 were long gone too but I downloaded it and can relive this game now !

  • @ThaOneChrisJONES I'll try playing on my PSP instead. I don't have a PS3 because my cousins tend to destroy it (happened with my PS1)

  • This is the 1st RPG I ever played when I was a child. I'm not an avid RPG player because of this game! Great battles, great adventures, great game! :D

  • @Heyyarnold19 now* lol

  • Not a fan of anime, but this has a cool art style and music.

  • i have to say my number 1 favriot RPG actually

  • one of the best RPG's in my opinion it is WAY under rated I absolutely LOVE this game its in my top 3 games for me.

  • What I enjoyed most about it, how it was similar to a real life soldier going off to war.

His loved ones freaking out at the thought of him getting killed, rather than the typical RPG where they just stupidly encourage you to risk your life.

  • @jesse66126 I don't encouarge wars or soldiers and hence it's not a critical thing to me. But what I like is how they get through all of it because they got each other.

  • @Luxai Who does encourage war and fighting?

  • @tehmullet With reference to what jesse66126 said.

  • the best game i ever played in my life...i simply love it...

  • its been 4years and I'm still playing it :)

  • Wild ARMs games always have the best opening musics.

  • @MRJUCE There's an anime called Twilight Venom.

  • I prefer this opening over the one with Japanese lyrics because the intsruments really get the feel of the wild west. Love the trumpet in the beginning too.

  • watching this brings back those warm memories

    I miss my childhood LOL

never quite finished this game (stuck in the last boss where each person must face a boss 1on1 and I always died when it's marivel's time because I never got her any new magic LOL)

aside of that,,,one of the greatest RPG I've ever played indeed

(sad my PS already broken :(( )

  • miss this OP -_-

  • WA2 is still the best in the series. To me the game went downhill after 3 when XSEED took over. 4 was too weird and unrefined and 5, even though I thought it was fun, reminded me of something from Gundam G.

  • right now I'm playing this game on my old PSone ;p

  • brings back memories...

  • Wild Arms 6 will be cool if they make it simple as all parts :)

  • I wish that if they ever make Wild Arms 6 they should make the openings simple and epic again unlike those high pitched singing...=.=

  • I love this opening song....very western. Though I have to say I love the jap. version of this too. The vocals are nice for the Jap. version, but the trumpet truly kicks ass in this one.

  • Man, this game was fucking hard.

  • This game and it's tough boss battles...great memories.

  • Jap ver. of this op is a crap!!

  • i get goosebumps hearing this song. lol :)

  • Love it, best Wild Arms ever.

  • i wouldnt mind playin the old system for this, thee best wild arms game in my opinion everytime i watch this makes me miss playing all the great games i played when i was a lil kid

  • this opening is one of the best i remember 10 yrs ago when i was 8 i would play this game on my ps1 and it was such a good game games like these r da reason i would mind playing da old sytems again sum games bak in they day were one of the best

  • 2 is the best!!!

    2>>>>>1>5>3>4

  • The English version is indeed more epic. I'll probably get this off of PSN eventually after I beat the first.

  • it's a trumpet btw. The greatest instrument ever.

  • Epic sax!!!

  • i use to love this game i remeber that summoner guys allways sayed "in my humble opinion " :)

  • @atsusamuno in my humble opinion ur retard

  • This makes me want to play the game again .-.

I truly regret getting rid of this game. If I had known the local GameStop was about to stop selling PS1 games, I wouldn't have traded it .-. But I'm considering getting this again, since I've seen it on Amazon for a fairly decent price.

  • buy it on the ps3 store, jsut bought it, such a good game

  • @kealx I intend to as soon as I have access to PSN- I only recently got a PS3 and lack any sort of way to get it hooked up to the internet (without having to do some ridiculously drastic furniture rearranging, anyway).

  • @redjacketalchemist i still have it its pretty awesome i havent beaten it yet though

  • I love this opening and the gameplay of it. Never manage to finish this though. I've lost the disks T-T

  • same world just different people and era

  • does the wild arms series related or each one is a different story?

  • i don't think they are related

  • No, they aren't. Wild Arms is like Final Fantasy and several other RPG series out there- they share the same name and the same basic elements, but aside from that are not related.

  • what the neme of this song

    ^^

  • im sorry but i thought that opening was amazing this game is amazing hands down the best wild ams ever and ill never stop playing it

  • yeah i really enjoyed 1 and 2 did not pay much attention to them after that

  • @xonrb

The first was and is still the best series died at 3

  • @UnsoundAncient Was 3 bad in your opinion? Why?

  • @TalesOfGod

No 3 was good, 4 was bad, the series should have ended with 3

  • @UnsoundAncient Ohh, well then sorry. I do agree with you though that everything after 3 was worse than any of the first 3 games.

  • @xonrb i agree with i played the first three but i have to say this was my favorite the first one is just behind it

  • One of the best openings to a game ever. The first time I heard this I knew I was in for an epic adventure. Still gives me the shivers just listening to it.

  • @ageant01 haha dido

  • @ageant01 You are right! That was the era when games were real adventures, not achievement and fragfest competitions and most important not watered down versions of what games really are.

  • @ageant01 Japanese opening is better, much more emotion in it

  • @Jahan917 I totally have to disagree with you. The trumpet beats the vocals hands down. Don't get me wrong the Japaneses opening is nice, but this one has much more feeling in it. The vocals in the original opening are good, but for me, I prefer this opening. The instrumental rings truer and deeper then the vocals do for me.

  • @ageant01 How does an empty song have more feeling with if if you dont even know what it means? The original opening was meant to be a vocal to add to the images being displayed, that doesn't make much sense, as they don't lead to anything, as it's meant to be a vocal song. Maybe you should look up the lyrics of the song.

  • @Jahan917 I've looked up the lyrics, and they don't add anything to the opening for me. Maybe, if I spoke Japanese it would, because I don't think a translation is 100% accurate to what you're trying to say. However even if I only get the gist of what it means. It's nothing that isn't conveyed by the music itself. This song isn't empty, it's full of emotion. You should try listening to it without comparing it to the other version. Take it on its own merits.

  • @ageant01 That's like saying "Hearts on Fire" or "Eye of the Tiger" would be complete songs if it was just empty background music without the vocals, The song is pretty empty, because the THEME of the song is "You'll never be alone, no matter where you are" Just music on its own does not convey the theme, the words are mentioned quite often in character appearences and the ending theme of the last boss battle is Ashley vs Lord Blazer, in which he seems to be "alone" as he has to fight

  • @ageant01 Lord Blazer, and the spirit of the sword reminds him he has "friends" to help Theres the "You'll never be alone no matter where you are" theme coming into play, if you look up the words even you can get a distiction of what's being said, "In the darkest hour, youll still find me" the words key perfectly with Character appearences Kanon and Bradley specifically, also emotions and things of the other characters interactions,I'm thinking you haven't played the game only watched the opening

  • @Jahan917 Seriously dude? You're going to question if I've played the game or not? I've gone out of my way to be polite about this. You're using strawman arguments to try and prove your point. It's ridiculous. The juxtaposition of Ashley and his later companions, can sure as hell kind of point out that oh, even though he's traveling by himself he isn't really alone. You don't need someone wailing "You ain't alone bro!" to realize that. This theme is better then the original.

  • @ageant01 I'm not using strawman blah blah, excuse, I'm just calling into question if you've played the game or understand the characters, which you dont seem to. I'm discussing my point, and you avoided the arguments I've made towards you about a themed song, THAT is meant to be vocal.

  • @Jahan917 Furthermore calling into question if I've played the game or not is about equal to saying "U Mad" as an argument. So keep it cool broham.

  • Wild Arms was outstanding, The 2nd ignition was 5 out of 5, the advanced 3rd was ok, and the rest.... well don't deserve the name ARMs...

  • was 2 and 3 a continuation of the first Wild Arms? Or are they different stories w/ diff characters altogether?

  • they both have different stories yet the concept of the world still remains the same.

  • God, I still get chills when I hear this. Soooo good~ <3

  • So nostalgic! i was shivering when i was listening to the song and seeing the video again. This is one of my best favorite RPGs of all time! and i am so gonna play it again once i've got a break. Thanks for the upload!

  • Kanon is my personal fave

  • Seriously, what the fuck is with all these wierd ass comments involving horrible animes such as Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh?

  • Agreed.

  • Classic Wild ARMS....

  • where can i download this game ??? please really need this game!!!

  • You cant.

Get a job , get a credit card and buy it online you jobless cunt.

  • you can D/L a PSX emulator...

  • If you have a PS3 or PSP you can download it off of the Playstation Network

  • try loolking for the torrent on mininova or something.

  • Comment removed

  • nice one, it's very rare for US version to have better opening than japanese version...

    well, it's just my opinion

  • i think wild arms 2 is the best one at of all da wild arms games

  • I know right?

They only had one problem with this

game. The main character's name is Ashely

    XDDD

    -Sai

  • I actually knew two boys in elementary school both named Ashley. That's a BADASS name for a guy! :P

    ~Meg

  • I would kill myself ._.

  • I would just have people call me Ash. ^_^

    ~Meg

  • btw the japanese one is a lot more epic

  • i never got a chance to play this game

i finished wa3 a long time ago and it was the best rpg i have played so far

i wish i can get my hands on this

  • Haha you have to play this. Its really good :P

  • I would if my parents would get me it from ebay lol. It looks very fun. Looks even better than WA3.

    WA4 and 5 suck though.

  • Lol, I was guessing 4 and 5 sucked based on the cover and screen shots. Wild Arms 2 has the best story-line in my opinion. "The Black Knight" is a crazy powerful in WA2. You definately have to play it. Btw why won't you just download it? If you need help downloading just reply back to me or message. :)

  • were would u download this game plz tell me

  • You can DL it on your PSP thought the PSN for $6. I am so doing that

  • haven't beat wa5 but ya wa 4 did suck a lot -_-

  • Wild Arms 2 needs a Remake. I love it so much, and since Wild Arms 1 got a remake a couple of years back, this one deserves a good remake too!

  • God the first playstation had the best RPG's.

  • yeah this is probably the best one..

  • so nice and spanish influenced music<33

    luw it

  • honestly i like it better without the lyrics from the Japanese version

  • me too lol.

  • yeah wild arms 2 is one of the best wild arms :) love this opening :D

  • Yeah when he transformed I was like OMG!!! Made me want to play more.

  • Thats the most memorable part XD I definately have to draw it soon.

  • the guy with the long platinum hair should be the chosen one. his good at spells, sword, archery, tactician and inventor. too bad he got injured and now he can't use some of that abilities T_T I feel sorry for him... such talents.

  • he remind me of alucard

  • This version is better because the trumpets give it a western feel.

  • amazing!

  • I prefer this version over the Japanese with vocals, the trumpets rule ;D
