  • I MISS YOU SHAQ :(

  • I love this video

  • that was the nba i liked todays sucks

  • Wow. This is beautiful, I remember when my dad watched bball at this time and I was like what .. 7? I use to just be like who's bad guy and who's the good guy daddy!?!? Man .. I wish I was an big NBA fan back then .. AI in his prime was like .. the best. VC in his prime is nothing Blake griffin is. Garnett in Minnesota .. omg. Tracy McGrady as one of the best scorers ever .. :S And SHAQ omg .. No one will ever be like him. Early 2000s .. :') Late 2000s and 2010s .. is aiight

  • i just missed the time that kobe and lebron wasnt taking the nba

  • dam u just earned a subscriber and a like

  • ALLEN IVERSON...the best in the early 2000s

  • ray ray, kobe, shaq, kg, every1 <3 lots of love

  • Tmac :/

  • Who can tell me all these players' name?

I only know some of them

  • nba back then was more entertaining, nd they had a lot of great rivalries too.its nice to look back now thinking, wow, i never thought i'd miss this era of VC, AI, T-Mac, TD21, KG and Starbury, SHAQ and Kobe, Dirk and Nash, J-kidd and K-mart, Franchise and Yao, C-webb and the kings, and the pistons too.it just goes to show that you can never learn to appreciate something until its gone.well, now we have superstar players ganging up in one team,i don't know how things could get any worse than that

  • Back when VC could dunk on ANYONE at will and Tmac was potentially better than Kobe.. :/

  • I have been looking for a video if its possible with just the sound of the shot going in lol, thats random i know but does anyone know a good one.

  • I think the mid 90's era was better than early 2000's... Things started to pick back up about 3-4 years ago and now present-day NBA basketball is as good as it ever has been.

  • its amazing at teh fact that KObe Bryant is the onyl left playing at a high level from this era. He was and still is the best basketball player

  • @jeshua1996 how about tony parker? hes pretty solid, and so are Dirk, Nash, KG, Duncan

  • sick vid.........

  • I like the video but I'll take Wade and Lebron over all these guys right now

  • @laurentbooz ok Ill take KG and Shaq in their 2002 seasons and they will murder the heat

  • good vid..

  • Not sure why everyone loved this era....i found think today is some of the best we've had since Bird/Magic

  • early 2000s were the best really

  • great vid man. Included so many players and had that part at the end showing a few of them still playing or not playing. Sick

  • Legends

  • manu ginobili had more hair back then

  • wow this video is too much.

  • awesome vid man, brings back some memories...KB and Shaq dominatin' Iverson puttin 50 on everyone, T-Mac the unstoppable, KG and his emotion, and VC the greatest show on earth!!

  • Sucks that people like AI, Nash, Yao Ming. and T Mac never got to win a championship

  • every team was good except the bulls

  • who is the player @1:25?

  • @ortizramon24

    steve francis... :D

  • @ortizramon24 Steve Francis

  • these franchise players stick with their team even they know they cant win championship, nba is much nicer to watch during those days.

  • shouldve ended with the "its over" from VC !!!

  • Kevin Garnetts mind is still in the early 2000's,,, LOVE THAT !!!

  • amazing video

  • one of the greatest eras

  • Kidd and Martin, Kobe and Shaq, Yao and Francis, Tmac, VC, Iverson, Duncan and Robinson, KG, Nash and Dirk, Baron Davis, Pierce and Walker, Allen, Peja, Bibby, webber, Divac

  • Kobe myafavorite player but if t-mac never got injured he would of been an all time great I wish his career never happen the way it happened

  • SACRAMENTO KINGS 2001/2002 NBA CHAMPIONS !!!

    FUCK STERN & FAKERS !!!

  • First time for me when i see yao is in the seriously video D

  • MARBURY

  • really miss the old nba.

  • Good ol days :)

  • Iverson , Vince Carter , T-mac , Young exciting kobe . Those were the GOOD ole days

  • Good old times

  • Damn I'm getting old

  • 2:20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Man, I grew up watching this stuff, these guys. Then it was about the basketball, about competing with the other stars. Now this game is all about the contracts and LeBron....what a waste of a perfectly good game. Nice job Stern....

  • @farinolad best statement of all time

  • also known as the post-Jordan Era

  • DUNCAN&ROBINSON KOBE&SHAQ YAO&MARBURY KIDD&VC NASH&DIRK VC&T-MAC I MISS ALL OF THESE COUPLES....AND ALSO KINGS....

  • @TheSaiFung yao and marbury?wtf?

  • Where true competition happened

  • THAT WAS A TRUE BASKETBALL ERA!!! NOT A BUNCH OF PLAYERS IN THEIR PRIME GANGING UP ON ONE TEAM!!

  • 80 - 90 for life !! fuck 2000 era

  • There just isn't talent like this anymore. Even though there are some great players, outside of Kobe, no one is really that mind-bogglingly amazing. There was KG, Kobe, T-Mac, VC, Kidd, Franchise, Marbury, Shaq, Duncan, Webber (and pretty much the entire 01-02 Kings), Yao, Ray Allen. And the best part is, almost ALL of them played on DIFFERENT teams. They all wanted to compete AGAINST each other instead of taking the easy way and teaming up.

  • The song lyrics sound like Allen Iverson is talking to his money...

  • Beautiful. This was right when the time I started watching basketball too! i missed the Jordon Era but the early 2000's had great games and memories. btw why not include Jordon as a wizard? Very beautiful video.

  • This is the most nostalgic video I've ever watched

  • @danvito32 really? go watch some of disney channel old tv shows intros such as so weird and jett jackson. u will feel so much nostalgia

  • GREAT video...congrats

  • Kobe NEEDS to get his fro back

  • dude that's beautiful!

  • Shaq miss you!!!

    Shaq for president :D

  • We miss you so

  • Great video

  • I want more, its so cool

  • Jesus christ i cried in this

  • boring boring NBA now

  • The golden Time of NBA After Jordan, Kind of Miss ist...

  • man today's league sucks dick. I want steve francis, t-mac, VC, shaq all of em to come back.

  • Simply adored this era. VC BABY

  • @ynanglo3 and who could forget shaq when he was completely unstoppable

  • I dont understand why everyone says the 2000's were a weak era. No it wasnt as good as the 80/90's but it still was better than todays watered down league

  • nice video man. I missed the Jordan and Magic era cause I wasn't born then but I believe this is the best era of basketball ever.

  • wow great times all da best 4 A.I n his financial problems n stephen marbury really look diff ova time but doz were da days

  • great video...not too fond of the transitions between scenes though.

  • Back when nba player like AI, Kobe, Dirk, Steve Nash, etc were playing for the love of the game and they were loyal to their teams too even if some of them still didn't win titles.Nowadays players like Lebron would rather team up with other star players in Big Market teams than stay with the teams they first started their careers at. Dirk didn't need Kobe or Tim Duncan to help him win rings. All he needed was a future hall of fame PG, a defesive center, and good role plyers.

  • @NBA58760 KEEP HATING

  • @NBA58760 Good role players? Shawn Marions career averages are HOF worthy while J-Terry and Peja are two of the best players when it comes to pure shooting. And Kobe wasn't loyal...Only thing that kept him in LA is all the money the Lakers franchise has. He was going to leave before Gasol came.

  • Man! That Kings team should have won a title! Crazy! Thanks a lot Tim Donaghy!

  • @kobebeans Thanks I appreciate it and yea jeremy lin is amazing, one of the best basketball stories in years.

  • perfect!!

  • memories. this is when i first started watchin basketball. This video brings me back

  • the nba in early 00's had one thing missing today- IDENTITY. you had such a polarity of special players, the league was filled with great big's, every team had its own unique jerseys (today all uniforms are homogenized and look the same to me). the nba is more artificial compared to early 00's imo.

  • The Potential of TMAC:(

  • Comment removed

  • im 29 so trust me i've seen it all. Jordan is the greatest but not the flashiest. That title belongs to carter.

  • Nostalgia, that's what this brings

  • Not gonna lie, got a little teary-eyed

  • vince is in a catagory of his own

  • lots of current and former mavericks in that video, hell yeah

the video has a happy ending :)

  • Yao came to the league in 2003 :D

  • @TheZasonas #1 pick in 2002 NBA Draft, so he came to the league in 2002

  • Awesome video :D

  • Nostalgic.

  • God, I miss the NBA that didn't have 4 superstars per team. When every team had a shot.

  • Dirk, Nash and Finley =

    Dirty, Nashtie and Filthy =

    Awesome combo!

  • These were the days...

  • Wow.. Absolutely epic...

  • why the video havent LBJ?

  • @jf6203 He's not oldschool.

  • damn, the majority of the players in the video are not even in the league anymore....

  • Awesome video.Really brings back alot of memories. :D

  • Allen Iverson, T-Mac and Vince Carter. MY MAN!

  • one of the greatest piece put together. those were the days... kobe and t-mac was the best match-up i have ever seen.

  • Too bad the lasting image of Iverson in the 2001 Finals is him stepping over Ty Lue...Lue locked his ass down in those finals.

  • damnnnnnn this brought back crazy memories. should've put the Horry 3 in there.

  • The lack of Ben Wallace/any other Piston is pretty palpable, but this is near flawless, otherwise. Awesome.

  • late 90's early 00's:

    Shaq&Kobe

    The Answer

    The Big Ticket

    White Chocolate&C-Webb

    T-mac Attacks

    Vin-Sanity

    J-Kidd Prime

Houston Rockets Aging All Stars transitioning into the Great Wall of Yao

Lots of fun. Love the NBA. Then and now.

  • i miss you iverson!

  • Knowing I could double the dislikes for this video with the tap of a finger is a terrible temptation... Can't bring myself to do so

  • great vid dude!

  • Probably the worst era of the post-merger NBA, but still some legit players.

  • RIP Sonics

  • I can't say I miss Antoine Walker...

  • Started with Vince, T-mac & AI, finish with them, i just would love to see them play together on the same team, they were the best, i grow up with them, guys that keep their identity for one team. Period. Fantastic job

  • "Thank you for watching" No man. Thank YOU for making this

  • No doubt a new era started after the 2003 draft class. Guys like Lebron have changed the game since this video. Then it was fundamentals, now it's star power and big threes.

  • @LoganCookMusic Celtics started the big 3

  • Now ppl talk about D Howard is dominated, cuz they didn't see the Shaq in LA, They talk abt Aldridge is omnipotent, cuz they didn't see Garnett was playing in 5 positions; they talk abt Ibaka got strong arms, cuz they didnt see the 'Steel' Mourning; They don't know there is a T-mac before KD; They talk abt Griffin is an animal, cuz they havent been through 2000, aka, the year of VC; They think of D Rose is an ankle breaker, but they forget that AI crossovered MJ, twice.

  • 0:52 The Mavs "Big 3" Steve Nash, Michael Finley & Dirk Nowitzki! Amazing Times!

  • this was my favorite era

  • Can you make another one of these too with the same clips but extend the length of the vid with the other suggestions. If its too hard dont do it haha im kinda askin alot but these bring back great memories.

  • @PEPPERMENTschnabs Thanks for the comment. I might do that at another time, but I currently have an entirely new vid planned which I intend to include most of the suggestions: 2004 detroit, sheed jailblazers, j will, j o'neal, etc. Right now, I've just been trying to finish some videos that I started a long time ago. I'm also thinking bout doin a Jeremy Lin mix hha. He just scorched kobe the other night. So, just keep an eye out i guess.

  • best nba video on youtube!

  • i love the video but its missing gilbert arenas from the wizard days. he was sick as hell

  • The only reason I liked this video is because there is no "love" button

  • back when nba players had heart and cared about more than the money

  • 2k should make a NBA game with rosters from the 2000´s with todays graphics.................... man that would be awsome!!!

  • Man i miss this NBA

  • final hurray for NBA....

  • My heart sunk when I saw T-Mac's part..

  • @kobebeans Dude this mix is absoulutley perfect, the music, the players the clips... im speachless

  • Best years of NBA basketball.. 1984-2009 you'll be missed

  • Comment removed

  • This was NBA Basketball!!! 90's too

  • Great Video i grew up during that era as a kid. Thanks.

  • great vid man. almost brings a tear to the eye, sick effort

  • Shoulda included Rasheed and the blazers.

  • Great video.

  • I like some of the teams/players from the early 2000's, but I think the NBA got way better after the draft of 2003.

  • Celtics have so much supporters because the big 3 represent a generation

  • Man, you should make a LONGER version!!!!

  • Yao =)

  • I like you start the video with AI

  • 492-0 likes/dislikes.. usually I would troll this streak down but not this time :)

  • :'(

  • I MISS THIS PRIMES....

  • remember when players like Kevin Garnett,Jason Kidd, Allen Iverson took pride in being the best player on their team and werent cowards to go team up with other players? When every team was competive? Now all these players want to team up and its ruining the league. Teams like Minnesota,Milwakuee,Philly had superstars.

Such a shame this is the league now..wish it was 10 years ago when a franchise player took the blame for losing a game and it was their team.

  • Actually...I'm not interested in NBA without them...

  • I miss healthy Tmac badly...

  • RIP 2000-2004 Kings :(

  • Great mix, I almost shred a tear. It's going to be sad when all these players we grew up retire =\

  • Iverson's double crossover at 2:37 was awesome!!

  • lowkey emotional , steve francis and tmac where the REALEST

  • back in the days...

    I miss it...

  • Comment removed

  • ai is the most effective in the vedio for me

  • I'm not even going to lie but I just got super emotional. Great video man. I just wish Tracy still had that in him. Still and always will be my favorite player. From Toronto to Orlando to HOUSTON!! to New York to Detroit and Atlanta. This kid was one of the most explosive/versatile/dynamic players ever and played at the level only the greats play at. T-Mac, Rockets miss you. I miss you.

  • Yao!

  • Yao!

  • before durant, there was t-mac

    before russell, there steve "franchise"/starbury

before d-rose, there was allen "the answer" iverson

    before d12, there was shaq

before blake griffin, there was kg
