@chitownbluesy Wow, I never saw a copy in red vinyl. Lonesome Crow was "import" only, back in the day, and was IMPOSSIBLE to find on vinyl! (There was no Internet back then!!!). Mine's on black vinyl. I paid $18.00 for it in a used record shop in El Paso, Christ, about 20 years ago, too. You just couldn't get this stuff back then and had to search the world for it. The covers are worn like crazy but the vinyl is still MINT!

Yes. I saw this tour also at Brick By Brick in San Diego opening for Michael Schenker and Francis played the whole U.S. Tour. I got autographed copies of Fly To The Rainbow Vinyl with Michael also signing that one(Remember he wrote about 1/2 the songs WITH Uli) and In Trance with just Uli and Francis signing it. Vinyl also. Uli is THE BEST with the tremolo! Better than Hendrix in my opinion. I know I'm going to hear about that one. haha All Good. I just LOVE any good music. Heart, Soul, GOOD!

@chitownbluesy Fly To The Rainbow on vinyl. That's got to sound incredible. It's one of my favorite albums of all time. There was a lot more live studio tracking back then. On a high quality record you could just about figure out where each member was standing when they recorded it if you listen to it on a decent record player.

@occams99 Yeah, I have the RCA French, double-album set (vinyl) of In Trance/Fly to the Rainbow from the 70s. Oh my God, they are so incredible! The CDs, as far as I know or heard, were never cleaned up (not that would have made an improvement) & the vinyl of these just has this three-dimensional sound that is unreal, penetrating, & deep. It just can't be described, the music just takes you out of this world. I bought the set in Dallas 20 years ago for $20.00. The best investment of my life.
