  • Guys, Don Adams is the voice of Inspector Gadget (cartoon from 80's).

  • Very funny!

  • I could just imagine a movie with these two LOL

Dean Martin and Don Adams in 'The Spy who sang out'

  • One of the funniest comedians ever. I haven't seen any comic that comes close to his talent in years. Most comics now days are just raunchy and stupid not really funny.

  • Maxwell Smart being interviewed by Matt Helm.

  • I really do miss performing watching Don Adams almost inspires me to be out in front of the audience again....but unlike him at least he had a breakthrough

  • I really love to hear Don Adams' laugh... :)

  • Thanks for posting this , I have never seen this before.

  • Love how the host just smokes. You can't do that nowadays!

  • wow.....this is actually unbelievably funny....im gunna go watch get smart now bye

  • haha, this is great!!

  • DON ADAMAS RULEZZZ

  • Don Adams could do it all: stand-up, acting, and music!

  • Yes, Don was a very talented performer. Too bad he didn't tackle a dramatic role.

  • @Smartsgal I thought Get Smart was a dramatic role.....

  • Don Adams FTW!!

  • this is great!!!!! 2 of my fav ppl together!!!! :D

  • Do you have this on dvd or something?

  • I only have this segment of the show not the entire show. It was a screener on VHS that a friend acquired from years ago and passed on to me. I bumped it to a DVD for a slightly better quality. I wish it was on the Dean Martin DVD sets.

  • Okei, thanks :)

  • you can tell that this scene was worked out well in advance as dean was quite taller than Don and having both stand and banter would not have worked. that's why dean was sitting waiting for him to enter and sit.

also, the paper doll song was a major hit by the legendary mills brothers. dean was a big fan of theirs and loved to pay honor to them by singing their songs.

  • Yes, Dean was taller than Don and it works out well that they sit. This is a rare opportunity to hear Don Adams sing. He didn't think he could sing well and avoided it whenever possible. In fact ,Don had a very good singing voice too bad he didn't take advantage of it.

Its a shame that this segment doesn't appear in any of the Dean Martin Show DVDs.
