Very good history. You should have probably just elaborated more on the bit where these people in the tribal areas were never involved in terrorism anywhere in the world until 9/11 after which the US forced Pak Army to go into the tribal areas for the first time in Pakistan's history in 2004. Between 2004-2006, constant aerial bombardment + artillery use by Pak Army(+US drone attacks) caused massive collateral damage which led to the birth of the Pakistani Taliban in 2007

Pashtuns (Race of most Taliban) should be Afghanistan NOT Pakistan. Pashtuns are more like dirty Iranians, while the rest of Pakistanis like Punjabis are more like peaceful Indians. Fuck the Taliban!

Yeah I liked those deals where pakistan let the talban move in then called us for help. But a lot of the pashtuns are peacefu and just caught in the middle. Look at the ones who saved Marcus Luttrell. Its so hard for us to seperate the good people from the extremists in this region. I know our guys can do it but this is one fight I dont envy.

Hmmm I've been under the impression that the Pakastani government (more specifically the Pakastani ISI) created the taliban to offset Indian influence in Afghanistan and have supported and protected them ever since. I've also heard that they aren't eager to destroy the taliban because their continued existence encourages America to send Pakistan billions of dollars in aid.

I believe a lot of the problem was the ISI being the sole distributer or US funds & material during the 80s favoring Pashtun tribes to placate the urge to create a greater Pashtunistan.
