Hmm, you're right. Probably his vision is more Zetterberg-like, but his wild moves, stickhandling and skating truly reminds me of Datsyuk.

Fil has some serious talent and could even make it to a superstar-level, it's up to him. I think best thing for his development would be playing without any pressure.

I forgot Tomas "Holmscreen" Holmstrom. He was playing at third level in Sweden (!), and scouts just went to check out the game. At that time, he couldn't skate well, used his stick like a hammer and was small-sized. But what Red Wings saw, was how he went in front of the goalie. He got kicked out from the net, but came back, until defender took a penalty. He couldn't stickhandle and shoot, but he could screen the goalie and redirect. And made his point-men look good.

Well, you have just shot on the bullseye. It's pretty impossible to play with big bucks in modern NHL, scouting rocks nowadays. And Red Wings are best on it, no question. :)

About Holmstrom, they were sure that this is the guy nobody hasn't paid attention on, nobody haven't seen him. And now they got probably the best guy in front of the net. How important Homer is for Red Wings powerplay, i'll give people chance to answer, but my own is: huge.

Yes i heard. Leino is lite version of Zetterberg. 55games 28 + 49 = 77 18 min this season. I allso heard that if (offcourse he does) Filppula makes a deal for next season they try to fit him on the same line with Leino in the pre season games. Leino is more offensive player and wants to keep the puck a lot and give nice passes! So Valtteri is going to make some nice goals next season to!

I think, absolutely, some NHL team should be intrested on Pesonen. Ville leinos one strenght though versus Pesonen is that he is very Physical and strong too. Pesonen is too, but Leino is the most. SM-Liiga is going to be missing a big player.. Waiting for a new star :P
