The US is 220 trillion dollars in debt and the world debt is only 20 trillion dollars. Non-federal dollars are not accepted so imports into the US are extremely limited plus the ports are non-US. The Federal bank is a private bank and so essentially America is a franchise. Russia and China have moved away from these paradigms. America is like Germany post-war. A disaster.

If you will recall, the former Soviet Union was composed of many races. After their breakup, the army lost its most effective fighters who originated in the Asian Republics, and so were left with vodka-swilling drunkards who couldn't even shoot themselves in the foot. However, President Putin put a stop to that, as the second intervention in Cheznya demonstrated.

The racial makeup of America is widely varied.
With a recession on a major scale it seems likely that the stable, hardworking and self suffient regions with overwhelmingly European decendants will split away from Hispanic and black dominated regions.

there're already secessionists working toward the break up of USA. do research on these groups:
the Lakota indians living in and around Montana states, the Dixie from the southern states like the Virginias, Rhode Island second revolution, Vermont wants to join the E.U. because they are mostly Europeans living in that states, Sarah Palin's husband is part of the secessionist movement in Alaska, also Texas movement, and finally the area around Oregon and northern California called Jefferson State.

He thinks that because Russia split apart after it collapsed that the States would do the same because of it's economy. He forgets that the US didn't aquire it's territory the same way Russia did. It sounds like wishful thinking on his part.
One thing I know for sure is that it's not in the American character to fall under the influence of anyone.

Russia acquired the Eastern bloc countries by forcing them under Soviet Communist rule. The United States acquired it's territory through treaties with England, Spain, France, Mexico and Russia. However, the Native Americans living within the territories obviously would not recognize such treaties and rightly so.
