First of all, I like both fighters, they are both noble human beings outside the ring, I will feel bad for whoever losses.Fedor is out of this world, he is just incredible; however, is not invicible. Arlovski trains with passion and always show a lot of heart; moreover, he is a great kicker. So, I think it would be a terrific exiting SHORT fight and let's the best one emerge.
When Andrei is "on" he is one of the best heavyweight strikers in the world. If that's the Andrei on the night of his fight with Fedor, then he definitely has a shot of winning.

rankings are made up by the opinions of website editors, journalists, etc... until m.m.a. has a governing body rankings will vary from place to place. that being said Arlovski is a beast, but i still would have liked to have seen him fight Barnett before Fedor, so Fedor can fight the real number one contender.(not that Arlovski is not good enough or undeserving)

Fedor is a great heavyweight, because he is well rounded. Yes some people compare Fedor's striking to Vovchancyn, but Fedor has a lot more qualities than Igor Vovchancyn. Fedor is also longer than Vovchancyn. Longer arms, taller, but definitely longer arms. Fedor vs Arlovski is a fight to see, because Fedor hasn't faced anybody like a Arlovski in context of a unique package. If Arlovski wins, yes this would be the biggest upset in MMA history. This is the fight to see coming this month.

Not only are they both incredibly gifted fighters, but they're both gentlemen as well. I admire both men for the same reason.
I can't call a favorite in the fight, but I can call a prediction. I will state that if Arlovski sticks to his game plan standing up he should be able to win this fight.
No matter how you dice it these two match up beautifully and will put on an incredible show.

also igor fought noname fighters when he went on that ridiculous winning streak (btw it was like a 32 fight win streak not counting a no contest and a draw so...) fedor has fought consistanly dectent to quality fighters for a long time.

What Arlovski needs to do, press the action right away once the fight starts, throw head kicks and look for opening for punches, thats the only thing i see him doing in order to get close to winning, otherwise his plans go to shit. Good luck AA, atleast put on a show for us unlike wat Tim did.

First of all, I like both fighters, they are both noble human beings outside the ring, I will feel bad for whoever losses.Fedor is out of this world, he is just incredible; however, is not invicible. Arlovski trains with passion and always show a lot of heart; moreover, he is a great kicker. So, I think it would be a terrific exiting SHORT fight and let's the best one emerge.

Arlovski is a great fighter and I definitely think he will put on a show, but Fedor definitely has this on lock... he's just berserk. No one has knocked him out and I doubt it will be Arlovski who can do so. It's going to be a great fight but I'm siding with Fedor on this one no doubt.
