  • some of you is member of mensa?

  • Lol MENSA in spanish means "Female Idiot"

  • @AnimaxRules your partially right ,but actually is a mexican word (Mexicanis)or slang ,for instance, in Peru if you wanna say fool to anyone your supposed to used "sonsa" in the female gender .The point is "mensa" just belongs to mexican slang only in that country(sory about my awfull english )

  • Comment removed

  • Meh, I got 129. Don't think that's high enough. Ah well.

  • Fuck smart people!

  • @DopeMcDoperson You are so incredibly ignorant..To become a member of MENSA in Africa your IQ must be greater than 130..Do some researh instead of insinuating that Africans are inferior.

  • i remember Rob from Rob and Big took the IQ test and scored 98,but he is rich and very successful .so these tests are gayer than mw3

  • @DopeMcDoperson lmfao

  • paying an annual fee to join a condescending social butterfly club is stupid

  • MENSA IS FULL OF IDYITS! FUCK MENSA

  • Asian people. Asian people everywhere.

  • @heydude8999 was gonna say the same thing

  • I took the practice test and got about 17/30 :I but i timed myself for 30 minutes and missed at least 5 or more. Got to practice my test skills more.

  • The name Mensa is ironic because in Spanish "mensa" means dumb, stupid.

  • Comment removed

  • It's soo ironic that in Spanish it translate to idiot. :P However i know they go by the Latin meaning of mensa.

  • @Pandulse123 Uhh... Mensa means table in Spanish idiot

  • @CashMoneyBunny I believe it is 'Mesa'.

  • @CashMoneyBunny No its not mesa without an n is table mensa with an n is idiot girl

  • @Pandulse123 no, that is only for fucking mexican slang.

  • One of the girls in the video claims that a high IQ is inherited from the mother. Isn't it just 50-50?

  • @Alwin2007 She is a sexist retard. There is emotional intelligence, logical intelligence, etc..

  • She's damn Hot.......

  • Top 2 percentile? Surely that's the top 98 percentile or, in other words, the top 2%? Not very clever, eh...

  • @meaning1 you belong!!!! =P

  • Comment removed

  • @gmod92 the mensa website?

  • huh.....justa bunch of chinos

  • IQ test are ficking retarded. i git a question it said "Eyes are to see when apple is too?" i picked oval (it resembles that shape right?) it picked cube. like honestly. wtf

  • @IxUNTOUCHBLExI

I hardly think so, you probably took an IQ test on the internet.

    IQ tests are nonsense though.

  • ok if u are smart enough to be in the 2 % of the world wouldnt u be smart enough to realise that joining a group like that makes u an elitist that divides people by the success in a 100 years old test that misses out on important parts of the brain as E IQ, body kinesthetics , interpersonal, intrapersonal , musical etc??

  • @Sofoklis33 So?Being an elitist is fun,very fun.

  • @Sofoklis33 the IQ test used to day is not 100 years old and it's modified to account for as many of the confounding factors you mentioned. yes it's not perfect, but it's a pretty damn good indicator.

  • Comment removed

  • @MultiGreenwood On what scale? A 111 at 15 isn't much different from a 111 at 55. You are gauged in comparison with other adults. A 111 is in the high end of average. Most likely you will always be in that range unless you massively expand your consciousness or get brain damage. I'd recommend the former over the latter.

  • @MrDeppness IQ stands for intelligence quotient your( Intelligence age/your real age), so age is already factored in. a 5 years old with 150 IQ doesn't mean she's smarter than you but than when she becomes your age she most definitely will.

  • @halramin Yes, I already know this. Read my comment above a little closer. And my IQ was scored between 154 and 159. So no, a 150 IQ will not surpass my left brain capacity but it will for every several thousand people save for one of each group.

  • A 133 IQ is only 1 in 50. Mensans are not even close to being geniuses. Geniuses are 145 IQ and higher, or no more than 1 in 400.

BTW, this hot girl 2:30 probably scored under 90 on her test.

  • @MrDeppness - *Pfff* You seem real pleasant to be around.

  • "IQ" tests are one of the biggest most cruel hoaxes ever deviced. You cannot measure what you have no understanding of. This is science 101. The only thing IQ tests demonstrate, is how good you are a solving IQ tests. When you reach the extremely high numbers, there is a chance that what it really demonstrate is your light Tourettes or some degree of autism. This ties in well with how "geniuses" (150+) I have interacted with behaved. Look the history of IQ tests. Filth!

  • my iq is 70 but im smarter than anyone in this video

  • Im a 147 and have been on pschotropic meds since 1997. Every aspect of my life is plotted down in detail. I hate it!! I would like to be dumb for a day. Just to give a rats ass about whats going on around me.

  • @JohnJuanUnited There is something called sports intelligence which you dont understand because of your myopic views. When human beings evolve to a more refined society with progressive channelization of talent and ability ,diversification of the ultimate destination differs from an agricultural peasantry life of middle ages.Progress is part of human evolution. And diversification of utilization of potential is a must in modern society unlike some 400-500 years back .

  • @menakandy Sports intelligence already has many many societies all over the world. Why you so mad about MENSA? would you let a skinny ass geek play on a football team? does that make the football team elitist?

  • what is mensa? - it is some bullshit community who think they are the smartest, and as proof they can show that they can solve some puzzles

  • @Zee96969696 Sounds like someone is jealous. Perhaps you should see if you can even pass the test before talking shit....

  • @Zee96969696 Sounds like someone is jealous. Perhaps you should see if you can even pass the test before talking shit....

  • Damn that host is hot!!!!!

  • Problem with people like these is that they are only good in math etc. but they are not really wise in life. I mean "WISE", not "intelligent"-and that is BIG difference.

Many of them are outsiders, because they're unable to adapt on real life. For example, Einstein was a genius in physics and math, but his social skills were pathetic, he also had problems to handle just usual function- for example, he never had driver's licence. Even Paris Hilton has Driver licence.

  • @DictatorRoB no clue what you are talking about...I really mean zero clue.

  • @DictatorRoB Common sense and general intelligence are synonymous. Folks who cling to the myth that 'book smarts' are somehow different from 'street smarts' are perhaps insecure about their own intellectual aptitude. All longitudinal studies of gifted children suggest that they excel across many domains, not just academia. They often go on to become our teachers, lawyers, geologists, physicists, etc. IQ tests measure a person's ability to learn new information. Has no bearing on personality

  • @ritter89 sorry, i know this comment wasn't directed at me (another was) but i can't help it:

"All longitudinal studies of gifted children suggest that they excel across many domains, not just academia. They often go on to become our..."

and then you go on to list nearly pure academic occupations.

then you state that iq "Has no bearing on personality" when DictatorRoB never said it did.

"IQ tests measure a person's ability to learn new information" which is EXACTLY what i was saying.

  • @Tartersauce101 Bullshit of the highest magnitude. Iq tests measure how well you do IQ tests. Thats it. It gives a pointer to how well a person can analyse patterns, beyond the pattern recognition bits, now you rely equally on education which is entirely biased. And which is why the same person can score low 100 in one test and then suddenly 140 in another similar one. You can never remove this biases and when you understand that it was first a tool to measure "inferior" peoples. Pure Racism

  • @fucknuaf

    i agree.

some background: i was tested for G.A.T.E in 5th grade and passed with "flying colors" (words of my teacher) and proceeded to learn through many harsh life lessons in some fairly rough communities the delicate balance of what makes success and failure in the life we all take part in. and having a high IQ isn't it.

i took another iq test in highschool and scored 139.

will power, training, courage, morality, physical prowess, creativity, social skills, etc all matter more.

  • @fucknuaf you're logic is total bogus. How well you do IQ test is highly correlated with how well you do many other things that can actually be helpful to you and the world.

  • @ritter89 You are obviously lying. one of the highest IQ's here in Denmark had a hard time putting a video casette into a video player. Look for Holger Bech Nielsen. The guy is amazing and I love him, but your statement is completely and utterly bogus. Just like your tunnel visioned assessment of the general happiness among very intelligent kids. I know several such kids who was alientated by their peers and society and fell through because there was no place for them.

  • 1:36 Coffee=Cheating.

  • I'm in Mensa and it's Great !!

  • Comment removed

  • nobody needs a mensa test to prove they are smart. you only have to prove in to you're self

  • its ironic how "MENSA"

    in spanish means "dumn"

  • @bombdiggittyfresh201 Hu, indeed.

  • lol most of this people are so insecure about their test.

  • 1:04

    This guy probably made it.

  • You could still have a high IQ n be a fucking moron...

  • IQ = Potential

    Potentail = Nothing

  • @Tartersauce101 Your right, as Potential is not relevant to that statment :)

I know it was a typo

  • @frazbob1

LOL. a..potent...tail? of course thats what i meant to type!

aww, too bad, i guess i won't be getting into mensa!

  • @Tartersauce101

    "Potentail"...

Clearly you don't have any of it either.

  • @shogundapker

clearly. a typo of that magnitude is very telling isn't it?

or perhaps...its simply telling of the person who chooses to make an issue of it.

frazbob1 already commented on this, and i joked back with him.

i for one lack the intellect needed to judge as complex a thing as a human being from a misspelling. i envy your wisdom sir.

  • @Tartersauce101 That's news to me. I worked with gifted children for 8 yrs and never once did I see any evidence of apathy or failure to fulfill potential. As a rule, the majority were self motivated learners who were several grades beyond their peers in terms of moral and social development, as well as academic achievements and extra curricular activities. None of them were weak, sickly, near-sighted, anti-social or unmotivated. The unmotivated drop-out tends to come from the remedial class.

  • @ritter89

i'm sorry, my bs meter just exploded. i'll get back to you.

(fyi, "children" is the key word of your monster paragraph)

  • @ritter89 The fact that you worked with gifted children, tells me that those particular gifted children was lifted up and put in an environment that nurture them. Do you think that this could be a possible explanation as to why the gifted children you know are happy? what about all the ones that are not picked up? They dont count or?

  • @ritter89 And before you say anything futher, consider Grigori Perelman, Bobby Fischer, Nikola Tesla, Oliver Heaviside etc.. a far-ranging assortment of phobias, compulsions, odd belief systems and extraordinarily weird habits. Clifford Pickover in Strange Brains and Genius provides more than enough evidence to show that an astounding intellect can be a passport to insanity and that the largest ones was bordering the line and often crossed over.

  • @fucknuaf you mean a society has some crazy people? wow how can that be tolerated!

  • whew. this discussion has taken to several twists and turns. some people here are obviously without kind words for Mensa, much less to the people that represent the organization. some are angry. some are given to the idea that sleeping with a girl or shooting a ball into a basket, is the essence of life. obviously, mensa is not for you.

  • I'd pass, but I'm afraid of taking tests :/

My IQ was measured at 153 on the WISC-III, but still... こわい!

  • @quazarphazar mensa accepts WISC-III for admission. they also accept SAT, GRE, ACT etc.

  • I took this test yesterday. I couldn't even tell if i got a lot of these right or not cause I wasn't sure if I knew what they were looking for with the picture questions. We'll see in 4 weeks though.

  • Asians, so many Asians...

  • @0XxCarolinexX0 Cause its in Philippines...

    hahaha

  • Why would you ever want to join Mensa? At best, they're decent people, but with only marginal achievement or success. At worst, they're a bunch of perverted criminals. When any Mensans have been successful, it has been because of other traits besides what they consider "intelligence".

  • 1:05 If you can't count what chance have you got!

  • @sharkey4123..dont worry, mensa tests have no numbers...only logic.

  • Comment removed

  • @sharkey4123 @sharkey4123 I agree. But, there are some peculiar things to intelligence that surprise me; starting with my math tutor at my college, he's quite a math whiz but when it comes to 1st GD adding he's not fast at all, for instance, he had to actually think for a second on what 9+6 is,for me that's automatic. It goes to show just how many variables go into determining someone's capability in math. The moral to the data provided; don't judge your smarts by your present intellect

  • mensans are not all introverted, though some are. However, i can assure you that most, if not all, members are very courteous and are not cocky at all...forget what you see in the movies. mensans are most of them down-to-earth.

  • @jnccg To enter you have to take a test, and obviously think you are smarter than most...this alone proves that they are cocky.

None of these guys impresses and i'm not a genius.

You guys are good at taking tests! that's all!!

Like the nerd in a class who scores A+ all the time but can't kick a ball or talk to a girl...bunch of losers!

  • @still4syntax Jealous much?

  • @Winter077 No not really, i can probably enter mensa, but i have better things to do.

Plus some of the most intelligent people i've met are often the most unhappy...

  • @still4syntax Why do you think that is? I've heard people say that intelligent people are more prone to depression because they see the world for what it really is. It kind of compliments ignorance is bliss.

  • @Winter077 couldn't agree more, a lot of people torture themselves by thinking too much...and well, when i think about it myself that's why i tend to realize...the world is NOT a beautiful place! I need a lobotomy!

We'll all go to heaven cos we're already in hell!!!

  • @jnccg I had a mensa member help me with a project a while ago. She helped me do an assignment in 3 days..others (none mensa members) told me it would take them 3 weeks! OMG smart!

  • @jnccg not true, we take every chance we get to let people know we are in an esoteric group......name MENSA results may vary pending on location HA!

  • @jnccg What movies have mensans in them?

  • So asmodeus, after that thoughtful statement I have a question for you. Say you have a choice, with decent articulate, to understand and speak four major languages or have better articulation in a single one. What would you prefer. Being multilingual or simply knowing your mother tongue.

  • the fat gay in a striped red polo is incredibly stupid.

  • Imagine a world where advertisements told the truth? It'd be rather interesting, if it ever existed. NOW HERE WHAT YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW, GUYS:

Yeah, we're a bunch of geniuses but truth be told, we're all douchebags, we get off of knowing that we're "better" than everybody else. All we talk about is WoW, lawschool, and how much weed we've smoked in the past week. The amount of cockiness we possess is like far more intense than all the sun's rays combined.

  • Yup. So?

  • I've always found attempting to enter Mensa slightly intimidating, since the whole environment has changed what with money being the priority factor as opposed to the sharing of interests. Not to mention the introversion of the majority of members, which I am a slightly ostracised individual by definition. I aced the Mensa practice test online and love solving the array of brainteasers therein :) I think I'll just persist with independent learning and forego knowing my intelligence quotient.

  • Mensa means Table in latin, round table, where the intelligent people can sit and no one is supperior.

  • MESA means TABLE

MENSA is a slang word for a dumb girl.

(a dumb boy would be MENSO)

    LOL How ironic huh?

  • Untrue.

Mensa directly translated to english = Table.

There's no words on latin named Mesa.

I haven't heard that Mensa should be slang for dumb girl, but you're maybe right.

And if you don't trust me, try a Latin-English dictionary.

  • I don't need to try the latin-english dictionary - I'M LATINO.

    "NO SEAS MENSO"

"PON EL CAFE EN LA MESA"

    LOL =)

    I know I'm right.

  • Rofl dude, latino and latin has nothing to do with eachother, latin is not the main speak for anyone. Latin was what they speaked in the old Roman Empire.

  • what they SPEAKED? You mean what they SPOKE?

And I'm not talking about Latin, I'm talking about SPANISH.

I'm Latino, meaning I speak Spanish.

In spanish Mesa means table and mensa is slang for dumb female.

  • And still hasn't anything to do with the name Mensa.

  • @th3Gman88 he is right

mensa means stupid for a girl!!!

Que mensa eres!!! a softer version of the infamous pendeja!

  • Actually, three meanins: Mind, Table, and month. I.E. a meeting of minds around a table monthly.

  • meanings

  • Is Mensa supposed to be an ironic name or something?

  • I'm portuguese, and Mensa means is latin "table" (in portuguese Table= Mesa) and it means something like the smart ones meeting each other all around a table (Mensa, in latin) to discuss solutions for humanity, science, etc

  • lol ohhh yea i see the connection now thanks.

  • hehehe :D

  • it means table in latin... the founders wanted an organization of intelligent individuals. kinda like the nights of the round."table" get it... i know that in some languages mensa literally means stupid, but that is just a coincidence.

  • Very cool. I took an abbreviated IQ test online a year ago and scored a 159, I believe an SD of 16. I am sure I could pass Mensa with room to spare.

My guess is I'll score in the Introspective High-IQ Society (99.98th %ile). However, IQ tests score only reasoning and problem solving abilities, both almost completely left brain. To know the full measure of a person's intelligence, their creativity through works and creation must be weighed in as well. That is right brain, which I tend to favor.

  • On the contrary, having taken the Mensa test, (I am now a member) much of the test is on abstract and creative thinking...right brian characteristics.

  • Really? And they have a way to grade that? I find that surprising and somewhat dubious. So what was your score and/or IQ?

  • You belong to MENSA and you don't care about proper spelling?

  • Yup.

  • That shows MENSA isn't anything to be excited about. ;)

  • Talking to me?

  • this is a good video! I remember a classmate of mine who's a mensa member too. I just can't remember if it's phils or the international. XD great infos! :)
