Heh, back in the good ol' days of monsters of rock, when every year at least 1 of the top bands would surprise visit either marquee or notts rock city. Year after this the four skins (motley crue) played rock city night before donington.
There hasnt been a festival to rival monsters since then.

I remember seeing him backflipping on stage in the 1990's, he was awesome, but I still love him!

@dizzysazzy He didn't need to back-flip. Pretty much their best music in the 70s was played without back-flipping. This is a good show. Voodoo Medicine Man at this concert very cool. Check it out.

I think they had a lot more energy back then. It seems like ST would go the extra mile to make the songs sound great.

@Ximon89 Axl sings now in falsetto which lets him sing really really high tones.
But back in the day, when he sang with his caracteristic nasal voice, he could reach some high tones too.. as high as ST in my humble opinion.
But of course, Steven is an inspiration for Axl himself. All my respect to ST even though i dig more Axl's voice. :)
