He has such a pure soul actually. Most kids today probably want to identify their life with Lil Wayne or Katy Perry-but the things Morrissey speaks of are what most of us-at some point identify with. My own childhood/teen years was "adverse" as he says-but the things that seem small and uneventful often keep us surviving. I love this video.

@HollowVoices I completely agree with you here, I'm 18 years old and unlike most 18 year olds today who feel the constant need to go out into clubs and intoxicate themselves to the point where they can no longer walk, I would much rather stay in and write as well. Sounds odd maybe for my age but like you I agree that Morrissey and mainly Morrissey alone has allowed people like us to feel a connection with him and find that we are not alone in what we do, as you say, he is a 'true genius'.

I have had a similar background like Moz. My old house is a parking lot, my grade school is long gone, and all of that sort of thing. I also spent (and still do) lots of time writing. If I'm not, I am reading, either a book or something online that I'm interested.

I didn't go alot either as a pre-teen once I doscovered writing. It's all I have ever wanted to do, and nothing more.
