get a book and you will find out that hair and nails continue to grow after you die.

They only grow a little bit, I'm pretty sure. I think it's because after you die, there's some 'material' left, which the body then uses, but after a while there's no more left and they do stop...

Sorta how it works.. I think...

It's not like the hair and nails will keep growing indefinitely.
