  • Wunderschön, surreal und verzaubernd! lg

  • Is like another world above the clouds, is this why your fly aeroplanes and not helicopters

  • Earth is so beautiful!

  • Really nice... this is a complement of flying airplanes

  • Is this a well payed job? Also, is it expensive to become a pilot? Cause I wanna become one but Im not sure wether I can afford it, although, I guess the payment isn't the most important thing, cause I'd rather do a job that I enjoyed doing and earn little money, than doing a job I hate and earn a lot.

  • Why aren't the nav lights on around 1:00?

  • @jeppniz With the winglet mod, I've never actually seen the nav lights from the cockpit. Not sure if it's even possible. Good eye, though.

  • Ice Pilots on Nat Geo, check it!

  • SO VERY NICE

  • God bless your videos <3 haha :D

  • from 0:19 to 0:52 you could swear you could jump out and land on one of the clouds. Awesome videos Man I Subscribed

  • do you fly for North American?

  • Man your videos are AMAZING. 763 or 75L?

  • @artjal01 This time it was a 757. Occasionally we fly the 767-300. Thanks!

  • @fly4fun . Thanks for the reply. The AA 763's are my favorite. As a AA Plat, I often book on the flight that will put me on one. I was trying to guess from the winglet shot at 0:55. Looks like a 757 (?). Keep posting your vids. AAwesome...

  • @fly4fun I´ve been following your posts and seeing your photos for a while now, but a have to confess, I´m not much a writer. Now, you really got me with this one! It was really good, and trust me, I´ve seen enough aviation videos to tell ; ). THANK YOU! For letting us enjoy the best job in world trough you. Shall I say… "You know why I fly?" well, you do. Maybe I see you sometime at SVMI. Take care!

  • hummmmm.... you were in a boeing 757 correct? Amazing video btw.

  • Wow! Man, this is (incredible) ... perhaps there aren't words.

A glimpse of the world of aviation, where everyday is a holiday even if there is work involved. Nothing compares!

  • why can't you film below 10k feet?

  • wow those clouds looked like the sea in some bits :) great vid

  • incredible! thank you fly4fun !

  • beautiful... and the best camera :)

  • It's like standing in a field of clouds that never ends. It makes you feel like there's nothing ever going to get in your way and that you can just lay there forever floating on top of them, basking in the warm sun.

  • Stunning, thank you for filming these. :) I am now more calm about flying tomorrow! (Only a passenger aha!)

  • What camera did you use?

  • @Mazza4Azza Canon 5D Mark II.

  • wow being a pilot is like having the most beast computer in the world - FSX on max settings with infinite fps!

  • This is why i always take a seat at the Window in every flight !!!

Absolutely stunning Video ! I want more !

  • 767 ?

  • 757.

  • ;) thank's I love this airplane, I took it to go to my country (Morocco) with the Royal air Maroc, what a climbing !!!!!!!!!! I will never forget it :D

  • @fly4fun What was your speed in the beginning where you're skimming the clouds? I love that! You really get a sense of how fast you're really going. Awesome video.

  • @Thepylot78 I think it was between 250 and 290 knots. (290 to 330 mph). Thanks!

  • At 1:40, it's Miami, FL.

  • Others questions concerning the ergonomy of the 767.

I was wondering whether the seats were conforatble enough for a transantlantic flight.

Wouldn't you prefer a full seat like airbus does with their aircrafts and a little table if you need to note down some things during the flight ( even for when you eat) ??

  • And does the aircraft respond immediately when speed brakes, (or even flaps) go in or out ?

And why all the levers are so big ?

Compared to those you find on airbus aircrafts they look enormous and stiff as you said.

  • What's the music of the second part of the video ?

  • It's a stock song in iMovie. Sorry I don't have the name right here. It's not found online, unfortunately.

  • @fly4fun, at the end of the video, when you push on the speed brakes lever, it's looks tough. But is it really ?

  • It's a bit stiff. Say 5 pounds of pressure (a guess). But you want to push it in ever so smoothly so as to not jolt the passengers. That's why it goes in so slowly.

  • do you mind if I use parts or a part of this video in my vids???

  • Sure, no problem.

  • @fly4fun

    awesome thank you so MUCH!!

I will definitely get you some recognition!

    btw: Merry Christmas man!

  • one of the best clips on youtube in my opinion godd job!

  • Who but the G-d of Abraham Isaac & Jacob can make such a beautiful thing as this?

  • awesome 0_0

  • wow! I wish there was more high quality clips like the last 10 seconds!

  • Ok. I'll work on that. I have a few spread out among my other videos as well.

  • sex for the senses. simply amazing.

  • Really enjoyed the music, great job!

  • Nice video, as usual, keep 'em coming

  • My advice, to anyone who want's to fly, but don't afford it or in other ways are unable to: Become a skydiver. I do belive it's the same extraordinary feeling as this video makes you feel. I know that, since i'm a skydiver myself. And the world, life and everything, looks and feel very different at 13.000 feet leaping out of an airplane, falling through the clouds at 200km/h feelin more free than you'll ever be.. =)

  • I believe what you're describing is called falling... flying is something where the upwards acceleration of object equals to the downward acceleration caused by gravity. A plane can do this... a piece of meat with a back pack strapped to is... well thats just not flying im sorry.

  • did a tandam myself from 15,000 and loved it, cnt wait to do my AFF now!!!!

  • that was absolutely beautiful!

  • I envy you so much fly4fun, how didi you become a pilot? I live in Sweden and its really hard to gett in to a proper school without beeing rich here.

  • Just amazing and beautiful!

    Great Video!

  • such an amazing video

  • amazing video 5/5

  • Whoa!

  • The HD version makes my face melt, awesome video!

  • Класс!!!!!!!!!!

  • God created Earth but Man created the jet!

  • Why do YOU want to be a pilot?

    This video is why.

One day, this world will end, maybe in a billion years from now, maybe in a week. But this video is a fantastic example of the beauty of this planet. And we should enjoy it to the fullest.

    Great video

  • The people who want to be pilot to see scenery only, don't last long in this field.

  • The people who make idiotic comments, such as yours, don't last long........

  • Awesome vid, I love flying. The 737-300 I was flying in from Chicago to Toronto did a bit of cloud hopping/skimming. I believe the A321 we flew back on did as well, at night though. It's really nice to stay above the clouds where you can see the moon, and the strobes make for a nice scene as well.

  • Stunning Kent, thanks for sharing!

Are those winglets for fuel efficiency? How comes they aren't on all 757's if so!

  • Beautiful as always, Kent.

New subscriber here, glad I found your site.

  • Beautiful vid

@ 1:40, which city is it?

  • Miami. Thanks!

  • I would say New York

  • Is that a 737?

  • 757-200 this time.

  • Too awesome for words, great job!

  • good video and wonderful music ~~!

  • amazing video!

  • Awesome Video.

  • That was cool seeing the sun and the moon. If you think about it, the rest of the world is under the clouds and they can't see that there is a blue sky above the clouds.

  • it's always blue skies and sunshine. god bless the hole freaking world

  • Great video. It looks like another world up above the clouds

  • Forgot to mention... great editing and soundtrack!

  • Gorgeous! On top is the best!

  • I'm pretty sure that is Miami... :)

  • I thought it was Miami, too.

btw Kent, when did you first post your Paris trip video. It was the first video I ever watched on YouTube. (That's 4,436 videos ago!)

  • Wonderful video.

  • Another great video...thank you, fly4fun!

What city was that at 1:38 into the video?

  • Thank you! Let's make that a trivia question. Anyone have some guesses? Answer in a day or two...

  • I thought NY when I saw the video, but I'm not so sure anymore. hehe

P.S.: Can you do any extensive approach videos with ATC comms, by chance? I LOVE watching those videos -- the longer the better (even without ATC, it's great). :-D

  • OK, my guess, Miami?

  • Doesn't get any better then this! Awesome compilation.

  • what is 20/40 vision? it's requried for a third class.

  • I want to be pilot but i have far-sightedness.Can i be a pilot for a commercial airlines?

  • not unless you get contacts, lazer eye surgery or glasses...

  • Generally in the U.S. if you can correct the vision to 20/20 with glasses or contacts, then you're fine for a first class medical.

  • I do wear glasses, but somebody told me that i gotta have 20/20 vision naturally, without any contacts or glasses.

  • If you go the military route, yes, 20/20 is needed. If you go the civilian way, you're all set with vision corrected to 20/20.

  • Great stuff as always Kent!

  • Stellar job Kent, once again your views are breath taking!

  • Amazing!

  • 0:55 looks like a scene out of planet earth on Alaska's tundra

  • i love this video is so amazing and relaxing =] thanks for uploading this.

  • 747 ,right?

  • Nope. B757-200 with winglets!

  • Kent flies the B757 & 767, this here is a B757.

  • Nice video ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  • Great Video fly4fun, looks amazing!!!

  • WOOOOOW

  • Very very nice scenes - went straight to my favorites! I Wish I had a cam like yours to record my cockpit adventures!

  • Thanks Kritz. Be sure to look at it in HD mode. (But I'm sure you already did, right?)

  • Is there a bigger sin than watching HD Videos in normal quality? Guess not! :-) Of course, I actually put HD on "automatic" if you know what I mean (no, not the autobrakes...) ;-)

    Watching it again now...!

  • Ooh, I didn't realize I could do that. Thanks!

  • Yep, it's somewhere in your settings, just look around a little bit and you'll find it! Your welcome!

  • Wow amazing! Thanks for all of these amazing videos. :-)

  • Thanks, keep 'em coming!

  • Good job! Did you produce (LOL)/direct the score also?

  • Ahh, you noticed! It was from Apple's Garage band application. So I didn't really do much in the way of production. It's always a challenge to find podsafe or unlicensed music to use.

  • At 1:46 it looks like your route was going through the red. Did you stay on route for that, or vector around it?

  • Stop trying to sound smart and enjoy the video.

  • He was just asking a serious question. And in my opinion, "the red" is about 12 miles away, still enough time for it to move out of the way. And its also a pretty small one, so no real worries there!

  • I can't remember, but it looks like he's going around to the right, staying above the smaller build ups. The radar is also on a higher level 'scare mode' which displays everything with greater sensitivity. I remember we did stay above the clouds.

  • that looks amazing! thanks for the video. 5 stars

  • Wow thats so cool i had no idea you can see the wingtip from the cockpit

  • wow man!! great job, maybe one day we will pass each other in the air!

  • amazing video

  • wt aircraft do u fly for work

  • 757/767. This was all from a 757.
