Native till i die!

  • Yeah but the crosses and english letters are even colonial violations on the true essence and identity of the very land and the people buried. "Red Cloud" would not want that shit on his final resting place. What a mockery...

  • Red Cloud a once Proud Chief/Warrior,me related very close,me no say how! me want ta say any picks of Mahupta-Luta or Red Clous is fake as he never allowed camera ta capture his soul,so then who R all these so called picks of me very close relative,me 4 real 100+yrs old now 95% blind very old??me wonderin who is pick of great CI- Chief or Greater Brother of Olgalas as me see many so-called picks, all fakes hmmm??

  • well dude...you must not know that he was one of the people that basically...gave us away!

  • Brush up on your history little one, for that is not the way it went at all.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this with me as it touched me!

  • As a Lakota Person, this very cementery is one awesome place to see.................

I pray at Red Cloud's grave site.

  • That's beautiful. :o) Isn't it amazing how even his gravesite still draws you to him? He was, and is, such an awe-inspiring individual.

  • I think it is amazing that a person can show the world that there are other cultures in USA alone.

  • hikerman4u a lakota person? i'd say he isn't.

  • ok???

  • so are you calathine? who are you? why do you lie about who you are?

  • I think the are resting just fine here

  • what a shame, they where such proud people and the original owners of the land.

here in the uk they would have a real fine place of rest

  • Very true. Modern America was born of such hard birthing pains. Yet I wonder: where are the fine places to rest in the UK for the Irish, Scots and Welsh who have been persecuted for the last thousand years or so? I'm not trying to be rude, it's just that every group has been perecuted at one time or another, which pretty much sucks. Humans are so nice! :oP Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Kola: The 1st nations were "not" original "owners" of the land. It was beyond belief that any human could OWN the land. First Nation ndn's lived off the land and were a part of the land. They did not own it. That is a wasicu term and practice, not ndn. And no ndn would want a place to rest in the UK.The sacred lands have the blood of ancestors within it and t is there they wish to remain...not the UK. John Wind
