this is 2nd worst sickness ive ever had in my life.. first being pneumonia and now this mono shit. i dont know how the fuck i got it but its hell man. ive been sick this whole fucking christmas break and im still sick, just not as bad. sore throat and little tiredness but hurts like hell still. video games are the only option in my opinion lol

If u have mono confirm this test for me, drink a can of coke, wait a day and see if ur throats ok.

@sigma001337 From what I've researched (Cause I just got better from mono) is that once you become infected it takes about 30-50 days for the virus to actually show symptoms. That's why it's spread so easily, because you can have it and not know it until later, so you could kiss someone not knowing you have it and infect them. It's a terrible terrible virus that is incurable sadly.
I have mono now. I missed a practice task I have a 103.5 fever. This sucks I am miserable and guess what 2 weeks ago I had the flu! It doesn't get worse than this I am stuck in my room. Omg this sucks!

I got it in small waves, so one week was a day or two with a fever, next week was a day or two with a bad headache, and the third week I got the fever, headache, and swollen tonsils for only two days.

If you are looking for a cure for mono, try taking 3 tablsepoons of Raw extra Virgin coconut oil three times a day, as well as gargling with raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Braggs makes a good one. Also add a little bit to warm water afterwards and drink it. It doesnt taste or smell good at first, you get used to it. So if you need to you can plug your nose while you drink it!! Hope someone gets this message and gets better!!

I've been sick with mono since Tuesday this week. It's Sunday (or really Monday now). Took them until yesterday to figure out what it was, even after a doctor visit and 2 E.R. visits. The worst thing is that it hasn't made me tired, but being unable to swallow anything, the only thing in my tummy was the pus dripping down. Which means vomiting and mono. Plus I didn't sleep for 3 nights straight... I've still got a long time to go before I get all the way better :'(

When you have the mono virus it stays in your system for life, but it simply no longer makes you sick. It is possible, though unlikely, that years after having mono you could pass it on to someone.
Rofl! Thats exactly what I did the first day I felt sick!!! xD The thing that scared me the most was reading about mono and how it can take up to weeks or even MONTHS for you to get better! I caught it two weeks ago and you're totally right.
I was online looking for explanations, and I thought I had an adrenaline disorder.
I was wayy off base.
But, I was scheduled to get my wisdom teeth pulled a week after I caught it, so I told my dentist it was just tonsillitis, so that way I could get my pain pills and ignore the mono.
Bad idea.
They made me throw up, so I last 5 pounds and almost suffocated from my tonsils being too big.
SOOO glad I got my tonsils out... I have mono now but not as bad as u cuz of that. BUT I have been very tired. And my throat still hurts, not as bad as it did at first though. I have a nasty cough now. and I was nauseated in the first week/general sick feeling.
but you are so right, it's hard to tell what it is at first, especially before the REAL fatigue sets in. I thought i just had a normal sore throat, but then one week went by. then ANOTHER week. haha. i'm going on week 3 now.
So get this. I went over to my ex-girlfriends place, who I still love very much because she was so drunk she wanted to kill herself. So being the great guy I am, I took care of her for the night (had to drive 45 minutes away.) I awoke the next morning to us kissing. She calls the next day, she has mono. Wonderful. I got mono while i was pregnant, which meant i couldnt even take any medicine for it. I wasnt even able to talk, and even drinking water was extremely painful. And to make it even more worse, i had horrible morning sickness due to pregnancy, causing me to throw up. Throwing up with mono is just horrible...

@paintballerl1995 everyone carries this virus even healthy ones but once it comes in contact because your immune system is already low it breaks out. thats the best way i know how to describe it from all the information i searched online. mono does suck. i was diagnosed with it last week and omgah the pain and the fatigue is unreal.

I can't wait to be back to myself again and getting back to the routine of things. This crap is horrible, I dont wish it on my worse enemy man. Thanks and I hope you get to feeling better too.

@paintballerl1995 I realize I'm six months late on this, but the mono virus can lie dormant. Someone could have and have shown symptoms. When you have the mono virus it stays in your system for life, but it simply no longer makes you sick. It is possible, though unlikely, that years after having mono you could pass it on to someone.

Rofl! Thats exactly what I did the first day I felt sick!!! xD The thing that scared me the most was reading about mono and how it can take up to weeks or even MONTHS for you to get better! So when my doctor said I had it I couldn't stop crying lol. The only benefit of this disease is that you can be a lazy bastard but other then that it sucks =/

i was just diagnosed a few days ago because the left side of my neck was swollen. my lymph node swelled and i had an ear ache but other than that i feel fine... i dont really feel much of a difference

Yeah i have mono too but not from kissing (last GF was 2-3 months ago) or sharing drinks... I have no idea how i got it... I HAVE LUIGIS ITTALIAN ICE TOO! and idk why it hurts soooo bad to yawn but i just do it anyhow even tho it hurts sooo bad but it eevntually feels good... I don't sleep at all and i feel great!... You probabl should throw that block away...

I caught it two weeks ago and you're totally right.
I was online looking for explanations, and I thought I had an adrenaline disorder.
I was wayy off base.
But, I was scheduled to get my wisdom teeth pulled a week after I caught it, so I told my dentist it was just tonsillitis, so that way I could get my pain pills and ignore the mono.
Bad idea.
They made me throw up, so I last 5 pounds and almost suffocated from my tonsils being too big.
But I got steroids today, so now I'm all better.

SOOO glad I got my tonsils out... I have mono now but not as bad as u cuz of that. BUT I have been very tired. And my throat still hurts, not as bad as it did at first though. I have a nasty cough now. and I was nauseated in the first week/general sick feeling.
but you are so right, it's hard to tell what it is at first, especially before the REAL fatigue sets in. I thought i just had a normal sore throat, but then one week went by. then ANOTHER week. haha. i'm going on week 3 now.

So get this. I went over to my ex-girlfriends place, who I still love very much because she was so drunk she wanted to kill herself. So being the great guy I am, I took care of her for the night (had to drive 45 minutes away.) I awoke the next morning to us kissing. She calls the next day, she has mono. Wonderful. I get to go through hell, and I'm not even there yet. But anyways. I just wanted to say you are the most amazing guy of all time. Best vid Ive seen in months.

I got mono while i was pregnant, which meant i couldnt even take any medicine for it. I wasnt even able to talk, and even drinking water was extremely painful. And to make it even more worse, i had horrible morning sickness due to pregnancy, causing me to throw up. Throwing up with mono is just horrible...

I'm beginning my second week with mono. I didn't know the disease before I had it and neither does my parents. Since my doctor diagnosed me, I've looked up the symptoms and was surprised at how perfectly they fit my misery. But my parents are being stupid and treating it like a fever that will go away in a few days. It's so frustrating. -_- They don't understand how much mono sucks. Thanks for the vid, it really brightened up my morning. Especially when you put that red block in your mouth. lol
