  • He should write a book called "How to Pretend to be an expert in fields I know little about" and trick stupid people.

  • what does he know about starting a new business? he knows about writing fake reviews to boost ratings for his books on amazon and then make it into a best-seller. he sure fooled me too. he also knows about being a douche and losing water weight to compete in a lower weight class to kick little asian guys and then call himself a good kick boxer.

  • If you want to start a real business. Check out dryer vent biz now.com

  • Serious! Orange shirt and red short?

Tim, take your bestselling incomes and hack your fashion in 4 hour.

  • The thing that gets me about Tim Ferriss is here's a guy who's only actual experience of running a business (before he began publishing his books) was managing an unregulated sports supplement company out of his home. And that qualifies him to consult with high tech companies?? I don't get it. This man never had a full time staff on his payroll and he's consulting high tech companies who employ dozens and/or hundreds of people? Tim is a smart guy and knows how to sell himself.

  • @cutis1000 He's a hustler and that hustle translates. Plus if you know his background, (Princeton, East Hampton, New York) he's WELL connected. He just dumbs it down and acts like he's a regular guy but he's well connected and worked the shit out of said connections.

  • "Hey Zach could you be quiet? That's how you manage a company" lol.

But seriously, this video helps cut through the bs I've heard about promoting one's self or getting the ball rolling in a business

  • Have a business idea or more like a product if any one wants to hear and give fed back???

  • @jake24550 Sure I'll give feedback, Always glad to encourage & help new ideas.

    Talk. =D

  • It's a shame this video isn't shorter. Now that I'm following the principles of the 4-Hour Working Week, I don't have time to watch this in full.

  • @james737 I've just wasted 2 seconds reading this. It would have been 5 seconds but I shortened it through the use of the speed reading techniques in the book. So I've gained 3 seconds. However, if I'd not read it I'd have saved 2 seconds and the additional minute it took to type this reply. Damn Book

  • cool breakdown on Ferrissing a startup

  • I think that it is funny how he says he doesn't "lay on a beach rubbing his stomach with cocoa butter" when the cover of "The 4-Hours Workweek" is a dude laying in a hammock which is supported by palm trees.

    Someone is being disingenuous.

  • @riseaboveitalltoday That's great. Don't read the book.

  • I am very interested in learning how to start a business. If any one has any other tips I am very open to learning them.

  • I like the bare foot shoes

  • i would like some feed back on my channel harumiyagi and i'm also doing another business and would like to see how i can apply tim concepts to my business

  • So what is like, like your like I mean like your like bio like like. Haha

  • Good

  • Who knows what book Tim says all Entrepenurs whould read? Warren Buffett wrote the intro... 22:45

    Thanks!

  • Great idea and excellent presentation! I agree with you however as a business owner myself, using a working and proven investment system is still an effective way to go. Considering the flow of my business I can say it never failed me.

  • get more details ;open the third & fourth link in:

    sos-business.co.cc

  • Why can't the interviewer understand that he needs to just shut up? Let Tim talk. This is his interview

  • Thanks for the video always trying to learn more. Another thing that really helped out was a book called -----> The Land Pusher Book <----- this guy is the king.

  • Business needs a lot patience to succeed, me myself struggled on the first years of my business, but as I develop new strategies everything works like a charm especially if you know how to manage and make use of the resources at hand.

It would be great to share some success with positive people who wants to succeed in their business so feel free to add me as friend here on Youtube.

    Regards,

    Suzanne

  • Just a note to anyone Richard Branson wouldn't or wouldn't have watched this because he be instead doing and not watching probably a faster and funner way to learn also. yer this does make sense i know but you get the point library's closing

  • Tim Ferris a true G.O.A.T. Love your show.

  • This is great interview, Loic Le Meur! I read Tim's book, Tim is a great business man. Thanks for sharing!

  • @tomtylertv Tim is a great marketing man. Big difference.

  • can anyone answer a few questions i have about business.i want to start a fashion business and i need some help to start.if anyone is willin to help drop me a message so we can chat..thnx in advance =)

  • What I have noticed is so many people spend a lot of time in the planning, and expansion, but they sometimes the importance of protection. Many people who are starting their new business may opt to act as their own registered agent. I feel this could be a costly mistake. Having a professional registered agent can ensure you don't miss important filings, and state deadlines.

  • Sure hes rather(might be understatement) annoying here and then, but thats not the main point you're watching the video right? =]] Just my 2 cents worth.

  • The interviewer is fine. Stop jumping on the bandwagon to fish for thumbs up

  • google "VoxTonePRO", the voxtonepro is a great tool for new startups.

  • Interviewer is so professional, lawl, not really.

  • does anyone see Tim Ferriss as an egotistical wanker? And the interviewer is about ready to perform fellatio...

  • @Soundgarden8497 crottt

  • wish the dialog was louder...

  • I couldn't take it past the first 3 minutes... The interviewer is so annoying! (Just my opinion, so stay off my grass)

  • The VoxTonePRO is a perfect tool for any new business. You can create professional voicemail greetings, presentations, even create promo radio ads all starting at just $13.99. simply google to word "VoxTonePRO" for more info.

  • "When two people meet, there are really six people present. There is each man as he sees himself, each man as he wants to be seen, and each man as he really is."

Thanks for providing us much valuable content. Please sub back. I appreciate the love, Justin

  • Brilliant.. Thanks for sharing TF!

  • inspiring..

    "we all have a choice"

    :)

  • What correctional is he in?

  • I don't like it when I see people looking at themselves on camera.. Its very distracting.. If these guys were real.. They would know this!

  • @tcounelis

    whats so distracting about it?

  • Good advice here - Tim Ferris is an inspiration to many. Read Think & Grow Rich which is a great book as well.

  • The interviewer is a moron. Keeps detracting from Tim's points.

  • @hydrolist1 The interviwer is a person.

I've seen interviwers who were more comfortable doing their job - this comes with time. But the question is:

Would you have done better? If so, go, interview Tim and post your video so we can watch. We love great interviews.

  • @RafaKBLudo Shut up you fool. Your counter argument, "well, if you can do better then go do it" is the standard reply of an ignorant moron.

  • @hydrolist1 No, the standard reply of an ignorant moron is to lose control and lower himself by cursing the other because he can't think straight.

  • @RafaKBLudo which you've nice demonstrated. thanks =)

  • @hydrolist1 oh, I thought you knew the English language =)

  • @hydrolist1 Thumb up to you.

Tim should bust a cap in ass for interupting him and making fun of his fly kicks

  • @hydrolist1 Harsh! I don't think the interview did anything wrong, the issue is Tim is so full of genius that any interviewer is unnecessary.

  • @hydrolist1 This is a very congenial interview. The interviewer is very generous in allowing Ferris to express himself, while, off course, exploring questions of his interest.

I think your problem is with your temperament as opposed to anything the interviewer has done. Your caling him a "moron" is an indicator of your maladapted temperament. Perhaps you should honestly assess yourself to determine what your problem is. It does not seem to be external.

  • @kkwilson27 Are problems ever caused by anything 'external' ?

  • Getting most common investors is a very good business plan. Free business plan template from

unitedbizbooks. com/business_pro.php . There are many ways to start but be prepared.Best Wishes

  • @hydrolist1 I don't find the interviewer distracting at all, he asks questions and tries to control the flow of the interview the best he can. I'm sure he had to move along, or push Tim at points or the interview would be hours long. You really shouldn't call people morons so lightly.

  • Tim seems to be a very brave, focused and smart person. Real interesting video.

  • great vid!

    sbwonline . com

  • What was the first company he founded and how did he get the idea?

  • thanks, now i know im young, (im 15) and i REALLY want

to start an airsoft company ( BB gun selling company )

im hope i can get the buisness up and running by 18

yrs old, is it too early to try and start working on things?

    please respond thanks

  • Absolutely not!

Just be sure not to rush it. You have more time now than you ever will in your life, so use it to your advantage. Do your homework; figure out your marketing strat and all the details before spending any money. Don't let other people's inability to succeed stop you from succeeding yourself!

  • thanks :) that gives me confidence :D

  • wow, good response.

  • Clear and insightful - thanks Tim and Loic
