Didn't Miike make it as a satire of how generic the Japanese horror scene was getting? I don't really see the point in remaking this movie, for that point, and also for the point that it wasn't a really good movie to begin with either, satire or not... I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU, The trailer for one missed call just became available online and i just watched it AND FOR GODS SAKE THEY CHANGED THE ENTIRE FREAKIN RINGTONE. Its not even the same in the least bit. I understand them changing certain things for western culture but the ringtone was like the trade mark WHY THE HELL CHANGE IT?!!
